Korcula, Historic Korcula & Wine Tasting at Lumbarda Village
The walking tour of this magnificent town will start directly from the ship. The Old Town of Korcula is a mastery of architecture and urban planning where everything is built according to a plan. The layout of the town streets reminds of a fishbone in order to take advantage of the different winds to clear the air – something like a natural air conditioning system.  Your walk will include visits to the Cathedral of St. Mark which is probably the best proof of the artistry of Korcula’s famous stone masons followed by a visit to the Bishop’s Palace that will reveal the hidden treasures of the town (sketches and drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Tiepolo and many others). The City Museum contains exhibits from ancient Greek and Roman times as well as objects about the islands shipping history. Finally a visit will be made to the charming Church of All Saints which contains an impressive collection of Byzantine Icons. Korcula is also known as the birthplace of Marco Polo who’s alleged birth house can be seen from the outside. After your walking tour you will have a short scenic drive to Lumbarda Village where the family Milina – Bire has lived for centuries. While in the  past they produced wine for their house needs, half a century ago they decided to use the knowledge they gathered throughout the years to start their own small winery. You will see how the wine is produced nowadays, before coming to the intriguing wine cellar nicely decorated with the wine production tools used in past. Here your host, the owner of the winery will tell you a story about wine production and history of the family producing wines in village of Lumbarda as you taste wine accompanied by snacks

Korcula, Mljet Island National Park by Yacht
You will be welcomed aboard your yacht for the 40-minute sail to the village of Pomena on Mljet Island. As Homer’s classic Greek tale goes, Odysseus remained on the island for seven years after being shipwrecked there. Your guide will take you along the wooden path which will lead to the National Park, the oldest marine protected area in the Mediterranean that has delighted its visitors for 56 years with the colors and scents of untouched nature. The Mljet National Park spans over almost a third of the island. Two deep bays filled with sea water, known as Malo Jezero and Veliko Jezero (Small Lake and Big Lake) are the most famous locations of this area.  The entire park is extremely rich with life, and numerous endemic and endangered species are a testament of the importance of protecting it. You will visit the Benedictine Monastery, originally built in the 12th century and located at one of the most beautiful spots here, on the island of St. Mary on Veliko jezero.  Following your tour you will have free time for swimming and snorkeling in the inviting waters of Adriatic Sea.  A light lunch will be served on board the yacht as you return to Korčula.
