1
ATHENS
Sightseeing before or after your cruise is at your discretion. Windstar’s land packages will help you walk in footsteps that echo with the history of 2,500 years. Your land package includes all the highlights: the Acropolis, standing high above the city and facing the blue Aegean waters; the majestic Parthenon; and the ancient theater dedicated to Dionysus, where the words of Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides were first spoken.
2
MYKONOS
Wake this morning to the postcard-like scene of Mykonos, the classic Greek Isle dotted with hundreds of white-washed churches and picturesque houses. Thatch-roofed windmills catch the breeze as our small sailing ship docks in a harbor bobbing with fishing boats and luxurious private yachts. We'll sail in early evening, as the Aegean sunset entices us to an indulgent evening on board.
3
SANTORINI
Nothing quite captures the daydream of the Greek Isles like Santorini, especially when you make sure you're on deck for our early morning arrival. As our yacht approaches the spectacular cliffs rising from the deep azure sea — with the Fira, Santorini's capital, perched 1,000 feet above our anchorage — you'll understand the magic of this area, where some say the ruins of Atlantis remain hidden.
4
RHODES
This beautiful harbor gives us an opportunity for one of the highlights of Windstar. Today, our two beautiful sailing yachts, Wind Star and Wind Spirit, are both harbored in Rhodes. For your day in port, Rhodes, the “island of roses” offers you a myriad of choices. Enjoy dinner back on board, or stay ashore and try the local fare tonight.
5
BODRUM
There's so much to enjoy here — from a romantic gulet cruise for two to scuba diving with a certified instructor. Or you may prefer to spend this amazing day lounging on the beach at the beautiful Kempinski Barbaros Bay Hotel. Today is also the day for another Windstar highlight, our on-deck yacht barbecue.
6
KUSADASI
Few ancient sites offer such a rich combination of history and scenic beauty as does Kusadasi. In Ephesus, one of the greatest outdoor museums in the world, you'll explore legendary sites steeped in history. We sail in late afternoon, enjoying another beautiful dinner at sea.
7
AT SEA
Enjoy an indulgent WindSpa treatment, try your luck in the Casino, or work on your tan. The day is at your leisure. This is an excellent time to indulge in fine dining at Candles Grill for dinner, or enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Poolside.
Istanbul to Athens sailings depart Istanbul at 5 p.m. and enjoy dinner at sea. Athens to Istanbul sailings arrive in Istanbul at 7 a.m. and disembark after an early breakfast.
