Jody Hewgill is a fine artist and illustrator whose clients include Rolling Stone magazine, Mondavi Wines and TIME magazine. Her work also graces the pages of previous Windstar Cruises Sailing Atlases in the past years. Jody's paintings are among many public and private collections throughout Europe and North America, including the Library of Congress' Permanent Poster Collection and the Centennial Olympic Games Museum in Atlanta. | Gary Eberle is a winemaking pioneer in the Paso Robles region and one of its most accomplished producers. His career began in 1973 heading the family's Estrella River Winery (currently Meridian Vineyards). By 1980 Gary had co-founded the Paso Robles Appellation, opening his own winery three years later with the premiere of Eberle's 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon. Eberle's handcrafted style remains a favorite of wine-lovers and connoisseurs, earning 91 pt. ratings from Wine Enthusiast for its 1999 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and 1996 Sauret Vineyard Zinfandel. | Rafer Johnson ran a personal best of 4:49.7 to win a Gold Medal in the decathlon at the 1960 Rome Olympics. He went on to be named Associated Press Athlete of the Year and Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated. Twenty-four years later, Rafer was asked to light the torch at the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. In addition to being a World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame inductee, Rafer is one of ESPN's 100 greatest North American Athletes of the 20th Century and among the 100 Most Influential Student Athletes named by the NCAA. | David Shalleck has worked for over two decades in the culinary industry as a chef, author and television producer alongside some of America's most celebrated chefs and hosts. In addition to chef duties in notable restaurants and for special events in New York, London, Provence and Italy. David is the author of the culinary travel memoir, Mediterranean Summer.
