Travel Guru Wendy Perrin Vacations Yacht Style on a Windstar Caribbean Cruise

Wendy Perrin is a travel addict (90 countries) and mom of two boys (28 countries). One of the most influential women in travel, in May of 2015, Wendy accepted the honor of being named Godmother to Windstar’s new-to-fleet, all-suite yacht Star Breeze, catering to just 212 guests, most often couples.
In true maritime tradition, Wendy broke the ceremonial champagne bottle during the yacht’s christening celebration on a beautiful spring day in Nice, France. Since then, Wendy has become a true sponsor to the ship’s dedicated and friendly crew, now sailing aboard for special events, a cherished homecoming in store.
After sailing on Windstar twice as a guest speaker, including on her honeymoon, this year Wendy chose to cruise on Star Breeze through the Caribbean with her husband and two well-traveled sons, making it a family vacation over spring break. While cruising, Wendy was sharing amazing pictures on her Instagram account and extolling the virtues of traveling through idyllic isles in private yacht style. We collected the most fascinating photos in this post for you to experience Star Breeze and Caribbean cruising to smaller harbors with Wendy and her wonderful family. Enjoy!

Wendy Perrin: Ever since @windstarcruises named me godmother of Star Breeze, the kids have been wanting to sail on “Mom’s ship.” So that’s what we’re doing for spring break. Imagine how thrilled the boys were to have dinner with the Captain!

Wendy Perrin: It’s not often you find a ship with a hot tub at the bow. Yet isn’t that just where you want to be?

Wendy Perrin: On a small ship like this one, there are always plenty of empty deck chairs.

Wendy Perrin: Star Breeze has a swim-against-the-current pool. Which is not exactly how we’re using it.

Wendy Perrin: I’ll miss this man, Star Breeze Captain Sverre Svodsnes.

Wendy Perrin: One of the joys of a small ship is that you really get to know the crew. And the crew of @windstarcruises’ Star Breeze is really special. 21 nationalities are represented. As the captain quipped, it’s like a U.N., only one that actually works.
