This gateway to the famous North Cape was established in 1996 as the northernmost city of Norway. Honningsvåg is surrounded by stunning fjords and waterfalls, dense forests filled with reindeer and the mysterious summertime light of the Midnight Sun. The 19th century church was the only building not destroyed by German troops during WWII when they set the town on fire. Make sure you have time to visit the Ice Bar where everything is completely made of ice.
