Copenhagen, Denmark
This fairytale city is filled with magical choices. Explore the harbor where Hans Christian Andersen once lived. Pay your respects to the Queen at Rosenborg Palace, or to the Danish Parliament at Christiansborg Palace. Find a feast for the eyes and food for the soul (and stomach) at Tivoli Gardens.

Discover the beauty of Rugen, Germany’s largest island and of Binz, a charming resort town loved by German people. Binz boasts sandy beaches and the Strandpromenade, an elegant seaside walkway.  Situated near the Jasmund National Park with its chalk cliffs, Binz also has well-cared-for and charming architecture. Another big attraction here is the Granitz Hunting Lodge built in the mid-19th century.
SAT JUN 26

Wismar, Germany
As a UNESCO World Heritage site Wismar boasts a large number of cultural sites which you can visit in the historic town center, including the huge Market Place, one of the largest in northern Germany. Or continue to Berlin, pausing to read the graffiti on the remains of the Berlin Wall and walking through what used to be No Man’s Land to the Brandenburg Gate.
SUN JUN 27

day 4 Travemünde (Lubeck), Germany

Travemünde (Lubeck), Germany
This seaside resort has been called the German St. Tropez, and was where the beautiful people of the Belle Epoque retreated to restore their creative juices. You’ll find it restorative too, whether you choose to wander the medieval streets of Lubeck, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or try your hand at making marzipan.
MON JUN 28

Hamburg, Germany
Canals, lakes, and branches of the Elbe crisscross the city, spanned by a multitude of graceful bridges. WED JUN 30
7:00 PM TO 11:59 PM Amsterdam

day 7 Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam, Netherlands
From the time you enter the whale-shaped cruise terminal, you’ll know you’ve arrived at someplace special. The intimate 17th century atmosphere of Amsterdam makes the city feel almost like a movie set for a period drama. More than 7,000 historic buildings remain, particularly in the canal district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city also has the highest museum density in the world, and a day here makes for difficult choices from the Van Gogh Museum (sunflowers, anyone?) to Anne Frank House, to the Rijksmuseum with Rembrandt’s magnificent Nightwatch. If museums aren’t your thing, rent a bike to cycle along the scenic canals, get a unique perspective on the Venice of the North at the corner of Reguliersgracht and Herengracht where you can set your eyes on more than 15 bridges at once. (Stand on the odd side of the street.)
