Little Bay: Montserrat Buried City
Get a bird's eye view of the
from Richmond Hill while standing poolside at the destroyed Montserrat Spring Hotel. Then pop in to what was once the
in Montserrat before setting out for the Buried City. You will drive through eerily empty villages and towns with shuttered, burnt out and buried buildings, some now covered in climbing plant life. And then stand near the deep water harbor and behold the majesty of what is now the tallest mountain on Montserrat even now still growing out of where once stood churches, schools, homes and places of business. Head out of the Buried City to the
facility where you will be served an exotic
including Calypso chicken, seasoned rice and plantain fritters. Have a dip in the blue sparkling Caribbean Sea or just relax under the canopy of almond trees and sip on your rum punch. You will have time to browse the local craft dealers’ stands at the Woodlands facility and take a piece of Montserrat’s volcano home with you.
: Bring your camera. Conditions in the Buried City are dusty and may impact those with respiratory problems. Dust masks will be provided. If you plan to swim at Woodlands Beach bring your swim suit and a towel.
Little Bay: Montserrat Volcano
You will board your motor coach for the 25-minute ride to visit the
Montserrat Volcano Observatory
. Here you will experience 45 minutes of sheer volcanic drama as you view an intimate and up-close video of life with an active volcano. A passing resident scientist may even bring you up to volcanic scientific speed by answering all your burning questions. Buy all your volcano souvenirs from the Observatory then you will head over to the
Montserrat National Trust Museum
to view an exhibition called "Montserrat Volcano - A People Moving Forward.” The exhibition and Museum Guides will share before and after photography and help you to understand how Montserrat dealt with shifts in population centers, rapid housing solutions, and the economics of sudden population decline over the 20 years of volcanic activity. You will have time to browse local craft vendor stands and enjoy some light refreshments. You will be returned to your waiting yacht having successfully attended and scored an "A" in your first Volcano 101 Class.
: The road to the Observatory is narrow and winding. Driving is on the left-hand side. Persons prone to motion sickness should take the necessary medication prior to the start of the tour. The Observatory has two floors and stairs.

Les Saintes, Scuba Dive
This tour has been designed for experienced divers who hold at least a PADI open water SCUBA certificate or a BSAC Ocean Diver certificate. You will be picked up from the yacht and taken by motor coach to your
for distribution of your diving equipment and an introduction to the archipelago. The dive will go to 65 feet and you will have one tank. There are

and will be weather dependent, but will be in clear water with
colorful corals and tropical fish.
: Participants will be required to complete a liability release form with a medical statement. The maximum dive will be 65 feet and participants should be certified open water divers, and have a valid SCUBA diving certification card with you. No participants with ear disorders or infections, flu or cold symptoms, a heart condition, asthma, high blood pressure, recent surgeries or under medication for any of the above conditions will be allowed to dive, nor will pregnant women be allowed to participate. Please bring a towel and sunscreen and wear your bathing suit under your clothing.
