You will discover the highlights of the island and many sites that cannot be admired from the sea like the little Church of St. Mary where San Silverio was buried. See the beautiful Lucia Rosa Bay with its pebble beach and the Faraglioni. The name is linked to a rich and wealthy young girl, Lucia Rosa, who lost her life by jumping to her death, from an impossible love with a fisherman. During the tour you will have also time to relax and take pictures of the breathtaking view in Cala/Punta Incenso and Felci, that takes its name from the medicinal herbs that grow in that area and once used by hermits who settled there. Stop also in Chiaia di Luna that can be reached by a tunnel that leads to a provincial road, built by the Romans and used as a port-refuge known as "diva-luna."  In the Napoletan dialect "chiaia" means beach. The name Chiaia di Luna is suggested by the half moon shape of the beach and by the white rock that lies at its two extremities.

Sorrento, Herculaneum
The city of Herculaneum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was founded around the 4th century B.C., copying the geometric regularity of the layout of Naples. Its “decumani” (main streets) have an east-west orientation, while the “cardines” (narrower streets) run north-south. There is undeniably a “feeling” about Herculaneum, quite different from Pompeii, where you get the impression that its ancient population of 5,000 packed up and left only moments ago. Herculaneum was smaller than Pompeii but is better preserved simply because, while hot ashes consumed the wood of Pompeii’s buildings, Herculaneum was covered by hot mud which sealed and protected entire city blocks. This means that marble floors, mosaics, paintings and carbonized woods can still be admired today. You will discover the ancient luxurious properties and villas including the House of the Mosaic, the House of Deer, the Thermae (baths) and the House of Carbonized Furniture. After a guided tour, you will be driven back to meet the yacht in Sorrento.

Giardini Naxos, Castelmola & Taormina
Founded in the 6th century B.C. by Greeks from Naples, Taormina was subsequently taken over by the Romans. Many of its narrow cobblestone streets are closed to traffic, making the main part of Taormina accessible only by foot. Your guide will take you on a guided walk that includes the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the bustling main street of Corso Umberto, lined with former mansions of enchanting architecture and balconies that brim with flowers. Follow your guide up the narrow street that leads to the Greco-Roman Theatre. Taormina’s most famous antique dates back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries B.C. and still hosts performances today. The theatre’s dramatic location is nothing less than breathtaking. The tiny village of Castelmola is strategically located near Taormina, a splendid site with panoramic views. The focus of the village is the attractive Piazzetta del Duomo with its fine, intricate paving. From various points there are wonderful views of Mount Etna, the north coast and the beaches below. Giardini Naxos, Taormina & The Blue Grotto
This tour will give you the opportunity to visit the resort town of Taormina, considered  one of the most beautiful destinations in Sicily. The  excursion will begin with the short journey by bus  to  Taormina.  Leave your bus  near the center of Taormina, and set out on foot as your guide will lead you along cobblestone streets to the Palazzo Corvaja, a 15th century building adorned with classic double windows. From there it will be a short walk to the amazing and impressive Greco-Roman theater that is Taormina's iconic landmark. Like the town, the theater dates back to the 3rd century BC. The Greeks did an incredible job of siting it - its width and acoustic qualities are so inimitable that it is still used for open-air concerts today. The Romans, who came later, did some work on the theater but even they were unable to vastly improve on the original. Explore the theater, and make sure you turn around and appreciate the astounding view of Mount Etna looming above the town and the Bay of Naxos below. Once the guided visit is done, spend some free time independently exploring Taormina’s main street, Corso Umberto. By bus you will reach the port of Giardini Naxos, board a boat and motor out into the bay. Your destination is the fabled Blue Grotto. Glide slowly into this sea cave to witness the famed blue glow that reflects off the water. Afterwards, snack on fresh almond cookies before heading to the inviting waters off Isla Bella for a refreshing swim. Dry off and enjoy the scenic cruise back to the pier.

Fiskardo, Melissani Lake & Ouzo Tasting
The varied landscapes of Kephalonia seem like they have been created by the hands of a dreaming god. The coastline is like a lace of sheer cliffs plunging into a turquoise sea and gentle pebbly and sandy beaches.  The hinterland  is a mosaic of densely forested mountains and well cultivated hills and valleys. Small villages and towns emerge from the pines and the cypress trees, topped by Venetian castles and chapels. You will drive to the village of Karavomylos where the mysterious, 40,000-year-old, underground Melissani Lake is located. During the 1953 earthquake, the cave's roof collapsed, creating amazing light displays on the cave walls. Legend says the lake is named for the nymph Melissanthe, who fell in love with Pan and drowned in the lake when he rejected her. A small boat will be waiting to take you on a breathtaking trip across its mysteriously salty, subterranean water. You will find yourself surrounded by a vast, shimmering play of blue and violet colors, created by the sun filtering through the hole in the ceiling more than 100 feet overhead. The headwater is in Argostólion, and it enters the cave by traveling across the island and through holes in the coastline. Your tour will continue to the village of Sami, for a refreshment stop for ouzo (aniseed flavored liqueur) and Greek meze at a waterfront restaurant.

Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Itea, Monastery of Ossios Loukas
Departing from the quayside, your motor coach will proceed along a picturesque and twisting road on a 45-minute drive where you can enjoy the relaxing views of the typical Greek countryside.  Standing impressively on the brow of a peaked hill facing south, the majestic Monastery of Ossios Loukas commands a spectacular view of the adjacent valley. The monastery bears the name of a local hermit, the Blessed Loukas (Ossios Loukas) of Stiri, who was famed for his austerity, the dignity of his life, his prophecies and the miraculous cures he performed. Departing the monastery your tour will return to the port via the town of Arachova, famous for its handmade woolen carpets. Itea, Mythology of Delphi
In antiquity Delphi was one of the world's most important religious centers. The Sanctuary of Apollo attracted a host of pilgrims who came to consult the oracle. Even now an aura of mystery surrounds the ruins of Delphi,a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exposed on a rocky slope. For sheer grandeur of natural beauty combined with ancient ruins, there is probably no other spot on earth that rivals Delphi. Visit the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo, where the celebrated oracle Pythia dwelt. Her ambiguous prophecies were known and respected all over the ancient world. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, the amphitheater, the best preserved stadium of Greece, and the Castalian spring, where in ancient days the pilgrims had to wash before they were allowed to consult the oracle. In the Delphi museum, see such treasures as the Omphalos, which marked the center of the world, and the magnificent bronze Charioteer, one of the finest pieces surviving from the 5th century BC.

Please note: As this tour involves walking around the Archaeological Site and in Delphi, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Milos Highlights
Volcanic Milos, the most westerly island of the Cyclades has stunning beaches, coves, and geologically interesting places. Since antiquity the island has been quarried for its minerals.  Obsidian, a hard, black volcanic glass used for manufacturing sharp blades was mined on the island and exported throughout the Mediterranean. You will visit the Sarakiniko Beach with its lunar landscape,  the result of volcanic eruptions. This beautiful, moon-like spot is one of the island’s many geological wonders and perhaps one of the most photographed places in the Cyclades. You’ll take a walk down the beach so you can experience this one-of-a-kind location and take photographs.  Next you will visit the cave of Papafragkas, a cluster of deep-sea inlets and sea caves.  Located next to Papafragkas Cave is Filakopi, a settlement dating back to the Neolithic Period (approximately 9,000 to 4,000 B.C.) and remained an active settlement until 1,000 B.C. From Papafragkas you can see the remains of the walls of the city (only standing remains of the city at this point). The tour does NOT enter the archaeological site. Next stop Plaka and its cobble streets and alleys. Plaka is a classic Cycladic village with white stone houses and bougainvillea flowers, locted on a hilltop. You’ll walk through the village to admire its traditional architecture and its stunning view of the sea, and you’ll taste some homemade sweets at the village’s local pastry shops at your leisure. Following, the Christian Catacombs, which are the largest in Greece, and the ruins of the ancient city of Klima. Close to the Catacombs is the marble amphitheater. There are still seven intact seat rows and there is a lovely view of the bay. On the way to the theater from the Catacombs, you will also visit the site where Venus de Milo was discovered in 1820 (now residing in the Louvre in Paris).

From here you will proceed toward the southern part of the island where you will make a quick photo stop at the ruins of an old windmill that has a panoramic view. You’ll re-board the coach and continue on your short narrated journey to the Akrotiri Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the covered excavations of this advanced Bronze Age civilization. You will be taken back in time as these amazing ruins leave you to imagine what life was like before the village was destroyed around 1650 B.C., by the eruption of the volcano.  It remains a question why there were no people left in the village at the time of the eruption, as it was abandoned for reasons unknown.  It is often said in a whimsical way that perhaps Akrotiri is really the lost city of Atlantis. Next, visit the Prehistoric Museum located in the town of Fira.  In this remarkable museum, you will see an exhibition of artifacts and frescoes which were excavated from the archaeological site of Akrotiri, including the gold Ibix, one of the most famous recent discoveries of antiquities at Akrotiri.  When you leave the museum your tour will end and then after a 5-minute walk you will be at the cable car.
