Offshore is Galli Island, legendary home of Sirens. Positano town is embroidered with narrow lanes and steps, and is dominated by the splendid dome of Santa Maria Assunta covered in polychrome majolica. Piazzetta and cafés are crowded by people relaxing after climbing the hundreds of steps up the hillside (not compulsory). Enjoy time at leisure for shopping and sit for a  drink at a café.  Continue your ride to Amalfi, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Between 839 and around 1200, Amalfi was the capital of the Maritime Republic known as the Duchy of Amalfi, an important trading power in the Mediterranean directly competing with Pisa, Venice, and Genoa. After a visit to the Cloister of Paradise, built between 1266 and 1268, with its white columns and pointed arches that reflects a clear influence of the Arab domination, you will have some free time for shopping or exploring around. Ride back to Sorrento by private speedboat.

For 2000 years visitors from all over the world have been attracted to Sorrento by breathtaking sunsets and the fragrances of orange and lemon gardens. Enjoy a guided visit of the old town, stroll along the colorful streets and admire the beautiful churches, the most famous the Cathedral, in Romanesque style dedicated to the Saints Giacomo and Filippo and built during the 15th  century. Stop in the Main Square, Piazza Tasso, which is the center of the Sorrentine life and  enjoy the wonderful panorama on the Gulf of Naples from the Gardens overlooking the port. Your shuttle bus will then take you to the farm house were you will experience the work of local modern farmers! Many of its narrow cobblestone streets are closed to traffic, making the main part of Taormina accessible only by foot. Your guide will take you on a guided walk that includes the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the bustling main street of Corso Umberto, lined with former mansions of enchanting architecture and balconies that brim with flowers. Stop briefly in the inner courtyard of the medieval Corvaja Palace and enjoy the panoramic views of the bay and snow-capped Mount Etna in the distance as you gaze from the balcony of Piazza IX Aprile. Follow your guide up the narrow street that leads to the Greco-Roman Theatre. Taormina’s most famous antique dates back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries B.C. and still hosts performances today. Leaving the pier by coach, you will begin with a brief drive through Messina for a 45-minute drive via the freeway and then motor along the coastal road bordered by villas, flowering gardens, and picturesque villages to reach Savoca. Its scenic beauty and historical-artistic heritage makes Savoca, one of the most attractive and unknown places of Sicily. In a private house in the village, "Bar Vitelli," houses a collection of local artisans' tools and photographs taken when Francis Ford Coppola shot scenes of "The Godfather II."  After a typical refreshment  begin a walking tour along the village's main street past two Churches of the 15th and 16th centuries, ( Santa Lucia and San Michele ) and to enjoy the view over the valley. Continue to Forza d'Agro, a 20-minute drive towards Taormina, a charming little village overlooking the Arab-Norman castle of Capo Sant'Alessio. In 1990, Al Pacino and Sophia Coppola arrived there to shoot scenes for the film, "The Godfather III." From the main square, a lane leads up to the circular steps, which ascend to the Gothic-Catalan portal in front of the Church of St. Agostino also known as “Triade. “  Before departing, see the Baroque Chiesa Madre.

Old Kotor was developed within a small triangular area enclosed by town walls extending to the Fort of St. John. Your experienced guide will direct your attention to structures that were built by the Venetians from the 15th to the mid-18th centuries. They completely enclose the Old Town and form a unique fortification capable of resisting lengthy attacks and sieges. You then continue to the 12th century Cathedral of St. Triphon, which features a Romanesque basilica whose nave is separated from the aisles by alternating square pillars and antique columns. Next, you’ll visit the Maritime Museum, showcasing the rich maritime heritage of this area. At the conclusion of the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Kotor independently, before returning to the yacht.

This trip is a unique combination of asphalt and off road, sea side and mountain scenery and different climates. It starts from Kotor with a scenic mountain drive towards the mountain village of Ivanova Korita. Once arrived at Ivanova Korita, located at the foot of Mount Lovcen National Park, and after a tour introduction and safety briefing you will receive your helmet, board your 2-person ATV and take the asphalt road towards the Ivanov Konak restaurant, from where you will take the Austro - Hungarian off road for 5 miles (8km) across Lovcen Mountain National Park. During this tour you will enjoy the beautiful refreshing shadow of the thick beech forest that embraces the road like a tunnel. A photo stop will be made at the place that provides the most attractive view of the  2 highest peaks on Lovcen followed by the place where King Nikola used to arrive to take a rest and enjoy the stunning view of Budva Riviera, Boka Bay and Tivat. Leaving the off road behind, you will pass one of the oldest katuns in Lovcen, continue along the asphalt road  and arrive at Ivanova Korita, where your adventure will conclude.

A scenic drive will take you into the countryside to the charming village of Tici, and the home of the Moric family. Upon arrival at the Moric Family home, which has been in the family for more than 200 years, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome by Ilija Moric, University Professor & President of Montenegro Olive Oil Producers Association.  You will get a unique opportunity to  discover the secrets behind producing organic olive oil as the Moric family are the only business in the area currently producing organic olive oil. Take a short walk through the olive grove, before visiting their new, modern olive press.  Afterwards, when you see the old olive press, you’ll understand how the new system has made life a lot easier! At the old mill you’ll have the opportunity to sample the olive oil, with Ilija Moric on hand to answer any questions you may have. This is followed by a buffet consisting of a delicious variety of homemade food and drinks such as smoked ham, bacon, sausages, homemade cheese, salad and apple pie. Upon arrival in Kotor you will have the opportunity to explore charming streets and historical monuments of this Mediterranean jewel with your tour guide.

Your excursion begins with a 30-minute drive to the small Baroque village of Perast for a walking tour in this pedestrian only village. See the Cathedral of St. Nicholas and other monuments including the Parish Church, the 12th century Sveti Djordje Church, and the Sveti Nikola Church, built between the 15th and 17th centuries . In a local restaurant, you’ll taste some typical sweets, made from an original recipe used during the Baroque period. You will have some free time before boarding a private motor boat to Gospa od Skrpjela, a Baroque-style church situated on one of two islets in the bay of Kotor, across from Perast.  The islet is man made, and its original church was built in 1452.  You'll view the stunning present church,Our Lady of the Rocks, built in 1632, and enlarged in 1722.  You'll see 68 magnificent paintings by Tripo Kokolja, a famous 17th century Baroque artist from Perast whose most important painting, The Death of the Virgin, is nearly 33 feet long.  Rejoin your bus for the return drive back to Kotor for a city walking tour through UNESCO protected Old Kotor.  At the end of guided portion, you will have free time for shopping and the opportunity to explore the town of Kotor on your own before returning independently to the ship.

From the port of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a motor coach will take you on a panoramic tour. You will ascend steep slopes up the serpentine road with 25 curves to Lovcen Mountain, through an area of beautiful contrasts. The soaring Montenegrin mountains tower on one side, while opposite them is the sublime beauty of one of the world’s most attractive bays. The road will take you to the picturesque village of Njegusi where you will enjoy local snacks that consist of  smoked ham, cheese, homemade bread, and wine.Rejoin the coach and proceed to the town of Cetinje, to visit the Museum of King Nikola. Then follow the scenic route through the popular summer resort of the Budva Riviera, as you head back to Kotor.  Kotor’s Old Quarter was developed within a small triangular area enclosed by town walls. Your experienced guide will direct your attention to the structures that were built by the Venetians from the 15th to mid-18th centuries. They completely enclose the Old Town and form a unique fortification capable of resisting lengthy attacks and sieges. Please note:  There are 40 steps to enter the Museum of King Nikola. Wear comfortable walking shoes as there will be some walking on cobblestones. The drive from Kotor to Njegusi Village includes driving over a narrow mountain road with 24 switchbacks. This is an opportunity to explore the beautiful natural setting of the green and fertile Konalve Valley. You will board your motor coach for a scenic drive to the village of Ljuta where you will visit the Old Mill called Mlinica Dvori which is still in function today. Here you will be able to see a demonstration of flour production using traditional methods in a water power stone mill. Enjoy a welcome drink of home-made liqueurs or a soft drink and dried figs. Continue your trip toward Gruda Village where Antonia Ruskovic has kept the tradition of the ancient handcraft of silk production. Silk is one of the oldest textile fibers known to mankind. The silk thread produced here is mostly used for embroidering the beautiful national costume of the Konalve region. You will be able to share in this magnificent cultural endeavor as you produce a silk thread in the age-old, traditional manner. Listen to an explanation of the whole process, from cocoon boiling, to thread reeling, dyeing, plying, reeling, weaving, and embroidering.  You will enjoy the hospitality of a host in the village for a welcome drink and cake. After this very unique experience you will continue your trip toward Dubrovnik for the guided walking tour of the Old Town.

Depart the pier for the scenic 30-minute journey to Cilipi Village and the Novakovic Family Village Estate. It is situated in the fertile green Konalve Valley in an old stone block of houses, well-blended with its surroundings. The authentic interior illustrates rural life. The family has lived in their traditional style home for generations, working the land, producing grape brandy, olive oil, and wine the same way their ancestors did. Your gracious host and chef,  Mr. Niko Novakovic will introduce and prepare local specialties that will be cooked just for you! The food they will prepare and serve is mainly home-grown, while the olive oil is produced locally. Known from ancient times of Konalve area cuisine the Prsut (smoked ham), is regarded as their most respected food. The best complement to Prsut is cow, goat or sheep cheese, and certainly bread baked under the Peka (iron bell covered with hot coals. One of the most famous meals  of Konavle is veal and potatoes baked under the iron bell. Times have changed, but the recipes and technology of preparing meals has remained the same at Novakovic Family house. The always fresh natural ingredients, and the old fashion ways of preparing them has long been a family secret. With this delicious meal, you will also have a glass of good wine, prepared from grapes grown in their own vineyards, kept for wine fans with special treatment. In a pleasant ambiance, far away from city jams, with your kind hosts, you will feel just like you were at home.

On this tour, you will be taken through all the parts of the Old City where some of the most memorable scenes from the ongoing cultural phenomenon, Game of Thrones, were filmed, including: The Pile Gate where King Joffrey was faced with a citizens’ riot and pelted with dung, the Lovrijenac Fort where the unsuccessful attack on King's Landing, known as the Battle of Blackwater, took place. The seemingly endless fortified walls will be seen from Lovrijenac where Tyrion Lannister and Varys took a stroll, with Tyrion uttering the immortal words: ''where is the god of tits and wine?” All of the filming locations and commentary  from your local guide will be accompanied by large, A4-sized photos that show the screen-shot from the appropriate episode and what took place. Of course, the people of Dubrovnik are also fiercely proud of their own fascinating history which your guide will also inform you about, alongside the Game of Thrones commentary. Tour will conclude at the Stardun (main city street) and  you will have the opportunity to explore the town on your own.

Your half day adventure starts near Fort Lovrjenac in the small port called Pile. Accompanied by instructors, you will set off by kayak to explore the caves and beauty of Lokrum Island where you will have free time for swimming or island exploring.  In the 12th century, Benedictine monks built a monastery on the island, and they occupied it for over 600 years. See the remains of the monastery, a large part of which has been converted into a residence for Maximillian, Emperor of Mexico, who has owned the island since the 19th century.  You will see plants from all over the world growing here by a little lake called Mrtvo More (meaning Dead Sea), situated in the center of the island, which links with the open sea by an underground channel. Just before departing Lokrum Island, enjoy picnic-style refreshments. Upon your return, you’ll agree that this easy paddling in kayaks is a unique way to get acquainted with Dubrovnik from the seaside!

Get ready for an adventure at sea.  You will board a luxurious inflatable zodiac boat in the Old Town Port and cruise along Lokrum Island and the old city walls which look very impressive from the sea side.  You will have the opportunity to admire the old city of Dubrovnik and take pictures. Continue with a cruise along the Lapad Peninsula and pass close by the charming Grebeni Lighthouse as you head toward Kolocep Island.  You will continue to the outer side of Kolocep island for an hour of snorkeling or swimming at the Modra Spilja Cave.  Proceed to the other side of the island of Kolocep, to the settlement  of Donje Celo which has a beautiful and very popular sandy beach. Here you will have free time to relax in the sun and swim or to ride on a tube through the beautiful bay of Donje Celo. Depart from there to beautiful and picturesque Zaton Bay where a light lunch and drinks will be served at Restaurant Orsan before you  return to Dubrovnik.

The Old Town of Split is built on and around the spectacular Roman Palace erected by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century.  Your walking tour starts at the Palace where the Cathedral of St. Duje sits in the center of Split. Other sites include the Golden Gate, the Silver Gate, and the Peristyle Square. Depart Split toward “Pantan” Old Mill to enjoy local specialties (snacks of smoked ham, cheese, and olives) while a group of singers entertains you with local Dalmatian songs. A 45-minute drive will take you to Trogir, situated on a small island connected to the mainland by a bridge. You will visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. This 13th century building is probably the finest example of sacral architecture in Croatia. The main portal carved by the local artist “Radovan” in the 13th century is world famous. Other fine buildings that will be viewed are the Town Loggia, the Town Hall, and the Cipiko Palace.

You will board your motor coach for the 90-minute drive to Pnsici Village and the Cetina River. For thousands of years the Cetina River has been crafting a beautiful canyon, creating miraculous forms in the stone of its riverbed. This crystal-clear river with a temperature pleasant enough for swimming, offers a true untouched nature experience. The 590-foot cliffs, cascades, lakes, underground tunnels and the 131-foot-high Gubavica Waterfall are on the agenda today. There are peaceful waters as well as Class I and II rapids interspersed during the approximately 3 – 3 ½ -hour rafting adventure. After a lot of excitement you will arrive at the Radmanove Mlinice restaurant where you will have some refreshments and enjoy a nice lunch. After lunch you will have a 45-minute drive back to Split.

 

Please note: Depending on the water level and with safety in mind one small section of the river may be redirected to walking. Guests must read, fill out and sign a waiver prior to departure of this tour. Bring your swimsuit and towel. Depart Split by motor coach to Klis and the Stella Croatica Ethno Village, a family run producer of traditional Dalmatian delicacies. Begin with a walk through the orchard and olive grove along a winding stone path through the middle of a garden and further through Aroma Park, rich with aromatic herbs and spices specific to Dalmatia. You will be served a welcome drink of liquor made from cherries while your hostess explains the elements of the stone village there. You will see the old way of life, unit by unit; fireplace, wine cellar, sleeping room. You will see basic parts of the houses with all the furniture and equipment that was used in them. After free time for exploring, the bread preparing demonstration begins. Then you will learn more about olive oil and its benefits and how to recognize a good olive oil. You will taste two types of oil - extra virgin olive oil and oil obtained by pressing together olive fruit and whole lemons. You will see the practices and traditional ways of preparing Dalmatian desserts.  All products are made by hand and according to old recipes with particular attention paid to the quality and nutritional value.  You will have the opportunity to taste arancini, limuncini, sugared almonds, prune cake, fig cake, fig and prune jam, and time in the showroom to shop. Return to Spilt and take a guided orientation walking tour including the Diocletian Palace.

Leaving the town of Split, you will take a 75-minute drive by coach to the famous Krka River Waterfalls. Located in lovely Krka National Park, the falls cascade over 17 natural barriers. Krka is one of the seven National Parks in Croatia and was formed to protect the Krka River. The whole area is rich with endemic species - vegetation as well as birds and fish. This tour will take you to the most attractive part of the park – the Skradinski Buk Waterfalls. The highest waterfall is 151 feet high which makes it the highest gypsum barrier in Europe. Above the falls there is a large plateau that offers spectacular views of the area. Your guided visit to the park will include a small ethnological exhibit and the old mill which is still in use.There is a path around the falls and you will have two hours of free time to explore before your 75-minute drive back to Split.

Take a thrilling boat ride to visit the past and see beauty of the sea during this half-day outing. Departing the pier, begin your tour with a fast inflatable boat ride along the Split Riviera towards the Town of Trogir, situated on a small island squeezed in between the mainland and the larger island of Ciovo. The tiny island is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Except for the green parks, the entire island is occupied by spectacular constructions of stone-houses, palaces, churches, monasteries, towers, walls etc. The streets are narrow and they truly give a feel of how life may have been in the past. During your visit, you will see the main attraction in Trogir - the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. This 13th century building is probably the finest example of sacral architecture in Croatia. The unusual construction with three naves and three semi-circular apses dominates the whole town. Other fine buildings that will be viewed are the Town Loggia, the Town Hall, the Cipiko Palace etc. Depart Trogir on your inflatable boat toward Duga Uvala Beach at Ciovo Island. At the completion of an approximate 30-minute cruise, you will find yourself at the beautifully secluded bay with a pebble beach and crystal waters. Here, time will be afforded for swimming (approximately 2 hrs) before re-joining your boat for the cruise to a nearby Yacht Marina for a nice light lunch before going back back to Split.

Walk along Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance buildings to the main square dominated by the 13th century belfry of St. Stephen's Church.  Free time in Motovun is followed by a scenic drive to the Stefanic village. At Stefanic Agroturism, which is located on the picturesque slopes near Motovun in a natural and traditional environment, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch which will include delicious local truffle specialties and Istrian wine. Reboard your coach once again and you will take in the picturesque countryside as you make your way back to the ship.

The hilly Istrian inland is romantic, mystical, and beautiful.  From Rovinj you will travel by coach on a 60-minute drive to Motovun, a hilltop town that has preserved its medieval ambiance in its narrow streets within the town walls, preserved in their entire length. Walk along Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance buildings to the main square dominated by the 13th century belfry of St. Stephen's Church. Free time in Motovun is followed by a scenic uphill drive to the village of Vrh.  You will enjoy the view of the surrounding deep valleys, proud towers, vineyards, hilltops, and beautiful Mount Ucka. At nearly 1,300 feet above sea level, Vrh was once known as the “Istrian Lookout.” You will have lunch in a traditional Istrian "konoba." After lunch your drive will continue through rolling hills to Draguc, the hidden pearl of Istrian medieval inheritance. Visit St. Rocco's Church and see its greatest treasures - writings and fresco paintings from the 16th century. Board the coach once again and enjoy the sights of the picturesque countryside as you are driven back to the ship.

The water in the fjord is less transparent and less salty than the open sea due to many springs, and the temperatures of the water in the fjord fluctuate. The water here also contains a large amount of plankton and oxygen so it provides abundant flora and fauna. The area is a natural hatching site for many fish species but is known for its oysters which even impressed Anthony Bourdain. The best way to visit Rovinj Archipelago and Lim Fjord is by boat, so join this adventure and see the beauties from a different perspective while trying the tasty shellfish of this region.

Venice city is in a lagoon, protected from the sea by a long strip of land called the Lido. You will visit two islands—Murano and  Burano. Nearly half of the lagoon’s islands are deserted but the main islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello are well worth a visit. In 1291, when furnaces were banned from Venice as a fire precaution, the manufacturers of fine glassware were transferred to Murano. Glassware was one of the few Venetian exports and as such, the secrets of this skillful craft were tightly guarded. Glassmaking was considered a privileged occupation, and glass artisans were allowed to marry into the nobility. Today, the Murano products of blown-glass mirrors, chandeliers, goblets, and intricate works of art are renowned worldwide. There will be time for a visit to one of the many workshops and for shopping. The island of Burano will be next. Brightly painted houses decorate this small and cheerful fishing village. Burano is well known for its lace-making. In the 16th century, the lace industry was at its peak, and Burano was cited throughout Europe for producing the finest lace. You will have the chance to admire these beautiful works that require hours of labor, and maybe even purchase some, if you like. At the end, motor launch will transfer you back to the port where your luggage will be ready to be re-collected, you will then board your private vehicle to the airport.
