Discover the amazing world of volcanoes. You will depart from the pier for the 30-minute drive to Los Volcanes Nature Park together with Timanfaya National Park are the protected areas which represent the recent and historical volcanoism of Lanzarote because they are covered by the eruptions that took place in 1730-36 and 1824.  On your guided tour with a very informative leader you will be able to discover this fascinating world of volcanoes as you walk across lava flows or ascend to volcanic cones where it´s possible to find spectacular craters, lava tunnels, lava lakes, etc. All the volcanic structures are well conserved due to the arid climate of Lanzarote. The evolution of vegetation is very slow therefore the landscape you will find  is like a huge open-air museum of volcanology. Also it will be possible to understand the slow but constant rebirth of life upon the lava, and will help you to understand how our planet looked millions of years ago and how its inner forces  were at work,  at the same time, you will marvel at a landscape of another world.

Please note: This tour is not wheelchair accessible. For this route it is essential to wear laced shoes like trainers or hiking boots because we walk over volcanic rocks with a rough surface. Mineral water will be provided, however we recommended bringing fruit or energy bars.

Agadir, Market & Medina of Ancient Taroudant
You will depart the quayside for a scenic drive to the city which is situated off the beaten path, perhaps explaining why royal visitors and politicians visit the area regularly. En route we will stop for a closer look at the argan trees and their healthy fruit (season dependent) and we may be lucky to see one of the local goats climbing a tree!  Today Taroudant is fondly called the "Grandmother of Marrakech" and it retains the feel of a small market town on the “caravan route.”  It is a quaint, and charming town that resembles Marrakech with its surrounding ramparts.  Unlike Marrakech however Taroudant contains almost the entire city within its walls. It is also known for its jewelry and carpets, with a much more relaxed atmosphere to purchase these items. First stop at the ramparts, to see the entrance of the Medina then walk through the souks for a step back in time. Casablanca, Magical Marrakech - Full Day
You will leave the port of Casablanca and head for Marrakech, stopping en route at a roadside café for refreshments. On arrival in Marrakech, the most exotic of the imperial cities of Morocco, surrounded by thousands of palm trees and backed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, you’ll drive to the Medina where you will take a horse carriage ride to the Majorelle Gardens.  Enjoy a short walk in what was home to the late Yves Saint Laurent.  Lunch will be served in a Moroccan restaurant called Restaurant Palais Chahramane, complete with a folkloric show and belly dancing. Then you’ll continue your tour at the holy site of Medersa Ben Youssef, a Koranic school, then on to the labyrinth of souks.  Souk Smarine is a maze of colors, the bustling Djemaa El Fna Square, where you will enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea on a relaxing terrace before returning back to Casablanca.

The highlight of your visit is the church of the Jeronimos Monastery, a masterpiece of Manueline architecture, widely acknowledged to be the finest sight in Lisbon, built in the 16th century. Nearby, you will see the lavishly decorated Belem Tower, and the Monument to the Discoveries, built to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Prince Henry the Navigator. On the way to the hotel or to the airport, you will see, stretching across the Tagus River, the April 25th Bridge, sister to the Golden Gate, and the towering Christ the King statue on the far side.

Lisbon: Majestic Sintras & Cascais With Transfer To Hotel
Your motor coach and English-speaking guide will take you via the beautiful coastal road bordering the River Tagus, driving through the fashionable resort of Estoril - the home of several international royal exiles during the Second World War – to the lively scenic village of Cascais.  Here you will have some time to wonder around its plaza and enjoy its colorful setting of seaside café terraces, small shops, and sailboats. For six centuries Sintra was the favorite summer residence of the kings of Portugal, who were attracted by the cool climate and the lush beauty of the town’s setting.  Writers and poets in general – Lord Byron, Alfred Tennyson, Hans Christian Andersen, and Isaac Bashevis Singer chose Sintra as a preferred destination. The tall conical chimneys of the National Palace and the fabulous Pena Palace, are two unmistakable landmarks of this area. You will have the opportunity to taste local pastry in one of the cafés in Sintra before free time to explore this town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. Return back to your Windstar hotel in Lisbon.
