Want to experience Pacific Island charm fused with a delightful French flavor? Say Bonjour Noumea! Be pleasantly surprised as you tour this cosmopolitan city set on a relaxed, tropical island. Board your air-conditioned coach and begin your tour with a drive through Noumea’s main shopping district passing ornate colonial homes and the colorful flame trees of the Place des Cocotiers (Coconut Tree Square). On arrival at the FOL lookout point, take in the impressive views of the city, the giant nickel plant, and your cruise ship docked nearby. The views over the city and out to your cruise ship continue as you head off to Montravel. Next stop is the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Built in 1874, it is the oldest church in New Caledonia. Exploring its intricate interior, complete with stained-glass windows depicting the miracles of Lourdes. Noumea, Tjibaou Cultural Center
Discover the Cultural Center J.M. Tjibaou designed by Tenzo Piano (Winner of 1998 Pritzker prize) which is a harmonious alliance of modern and traditional Kanak architecture. The Cultural Center's design was inspired by the thatch huts traditional to the native Kanaks. It displays a unique collection of Kanak and South Pacific art, custom, and history. Guides will take you through several exhibits, explaining in detail the myths and beliefs of the Kanak society. Along the Kanak path, you will discover their special plants, the Kanak village and other South Pacific Region’s customs and cultures while seeing the most beautiful sites of Noumea. The Center has been named in recognition of the Kanak leader, Jean-Marie Tjibaou, in particular for his contribution to cultural development.

Home to crystal clear waters, diverse marine life, the world’s second largest coral reef and the world’s largest (and world heritage listed since 2008) lagoon, it’s pretty safe to say Noumea is a mighty fine snorkeling destination. Your tour will begin as you join your guide for a short walk to a 35-foot catamaran. Then you’re off on a b headed to one of Noumea’s top marine park snorkeling destinations – either Signal Island, Laregnere Islet or Master Island, depending on the conditions. Gear up, dive in and enjoy approximately one hour in the water. The calm, crystal-clear waters in the lagoon off Noumea are a sanctuary for some amazing, colorful marine life. Just 30 minutes from Denarau aboard a high speed catamaran, an uninhabited island is surrounded by crystal clear waters and magnificent coral reefs. The Fijian crew will give you a warm welcome as you step ashore onto the sandy beach. Then the island and all its activities are yours to enjoy.
