Christian shrines. Jewish fortresses. Wondrous museums filled with relics of the world’s oldest civilizations. All will take your breath away and fill you with awe, just as they did the prophets and disciples who came this way before you.

Our Stories
“Each time I visit Israel, even when I visit the same places repeatedly, I learn something new. There’s just no bottom to the depth of history here, layer after layer going all the way back to Abraham. You can’t fail to be moved by it, knowing that the ground under your feet has so many stories to tell.” ~ Karolina Sayapina, Destination Manager
Featured Port: Ashdod, Isreal
Ashdod is home to Israel’s largest port. It is convenient to Tel Aviv and close enough to Jerusalem for day trips. Though the town has a nice seaside promenade and an archaeology museum, most guests choose tours to Jerusalem, where you’ll enter the 5,000-year-old walled Old City and wind through some of the most important sites in religious history. Key places include the Western Wall (Wailing Wall), Dome of the Rock, and Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Some tours also stop at Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity or spend time at Jerusalem’s Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial or The Israel Museum, where collections include the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Shore Excursion Must-Do: Jerusalem, The Old City (Haifa, Israel)
Religious sites alternate with panoramic views of Jerusalem and Bethlehem on this transformative adventure. Stroll through the Garden of Gethsemane past 900-year-old olive trees. Drive past “modern” landmarks like the Shrine of the Book, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls. Then head to Jaffa Gate for a walking tour of the Old City, following the path of the crucifixion to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the last five Stations of the Cross. Step into the 6th century AD along the old Roman Cardo (main street) in the Jewish Quarter before an unforgettable visit to the Western Wall.
