People arrived from all over the Greek world in order to attend the religious events dedicated to Asclepius. The architect who designed and built the theater was one of the best architects in Greece. Due to his excellent design, the acoustics are so good, one can be sitting right at the top in the last row and still hear even a coin dropping the middle of the stage.
