Hundred Island National Park, in Alaminos City is one of the most interesting destinations and the setting of popular water recreational activities or just plain basking under the sun in one of the three developed islands. The Hundred Islands tour includes a ride in a motorized banca as you cruise different islets. Once your ship anchors near Quezon Island, tenders or Zodiacs will shuttle you to Quezon Island where you will board an outrigger motor boat to begin your island tour. For the next 45-60 minutes you will tour and pass thru Canal Grande, Clave Island, Children’s Island, Cuenco Island/Tunnel, Pilgrimage Island, Braganza Island and you will stop at Governor’s Island and take a walk going to the peak with its fantastic view.  Another stop for will be at the Giant Clams Sanctuary for approximately 45 minutes for snorkeling.

Your first stop will be at Rizal Park which was named after National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal. Across the monument, you’ll see a marble marker designated as KM 0 for road distances on the island of Luzon and the rest of the Philippines. Then your tour will continue to Quaipo Church, famous for the Black Nazarene, a life-size image of Christ believed to be miraculous. Around the church is a fascinating gathering of vendors selling candles and curiosities like amulets and folk cures for obscure ailments. Next stop will be at Old Intramuros built by the Spaniards and home of the elite during that long period of Spanish colonization in the Philippines. The battle for the liberation of Manila in 1945 during World War II left the area in ruins. . Visit San Agustin Church, one of four Philippine churches constructed during the Spanish colonial period to be designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Your last stop on this tour will be Fort Santiago, one of few most important historical sites in Manila. Notable for being the oldest fortress protecting the old city from its invaders. It was here that Dr. Jose Rizal spent his last days and where he wrote his famous “My Last Farewell.”

You will depart from the pier for a tour of downtown Manilla.  You will pass the Planetarium, the National Museum, Manila City Hall and head over the Jones Bridge and past  Filipino-Chinese Friendship Arch to Binondo, a typical small Chinese town, referred to as the local "China Town."  This district is the center of commerce and trade for all types of businesses run by Filipino-Chinese merchants.  It is also famous for wholesale stores and restaurants serving top rated Chinese dishes. You will see the Binondo Church founded in 1596 on your way to the Chinese Cemetery. The Manila Chinese Cemetery is the second oldest cemetery in Manila and was designated as the resting place for the Chinese citizens who were denied burial in Catholic cemeteries during the Spanish colonial period. The dead were buried in fully functional houses with bathrooms kitchens, bedrooms and often air conditioning. Tomb houses of the Chinese Cemetery have front doors that are locked. Every tomb is unique, every tomb has its story to tell, and you can easily spend a lot of time exploring this fascinating place. You will then head for La Loma, where you will see a narrow road lined with rows and rows of roast suckling pig or lechon cooked over live charcoals. You will make a photo stop and head for Quiapo Church, famous for the Black Nazarene, a life-size image of Christ believed to be miraculous. Your first stop will be at Ayala Museum for a tour of the 60 dioramas that chronicle the rich tapestry of Philippine history and see the miniature watercrafts of Philippine maritime history. After the museum tour, you will head to Manila Hotel for a buffet lunch at Café Ilang-Ilang. Continue the tour and head to Intramuros, passing by Manila Cathedral going to San Agustin Church for a photo op and by chance to visit the oldest stone church. Re-board the coach and proceed to Fort Santiago, one of the oldest forts in Manila. At the fort, you can watch a 12-minute documentary and take a tour of the fort, and then you can have an optional stop at a small local souvenir shop inside the fort before heading to Rizal Park which was named after National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal. Across the monument, you’ll see a marble marker designated as Kilometer 0 for road distances on the island of Luzon and the rest of the Philippines. You will take a short walk to the exact spot where Rizal was executed.  Then your tour will continue with an overall view of old downtown Manila passing by Planetarium, National Museum, Manila City Hall, Jones Bridge, and Filipino-Chinese Friendship Arch towards the Binondo area referred to as the local "China Town" before heading back to the pier.

Your tour will start with a running tour along Roxas Boulevard, passing thru Rizal Park and Monument, CCP Complex-PICC, Coconut Palace, Manila Film Center,and Macapagal Boulevard toward Edsa to McKinley Avenue in Forbes Park Makati. First stop will be at American War Memorial and Cemetery, with the largest number of graves of any cemetery of U.S. personnel killed during World War II and holds war dead from the Philippines and other allied nations. Continue the tour to Ayala Museum that features 60 handcrafted dioramas that chronicle the rich tapestry of Philippine history and one-of-a-kind boat gallery showcasing miniatures of some of the watercrafts that contributed to the development of Philippine maritime trade and colonial economy. Boracay Island is home to numerous beautiful beaches made of soft, powdery white sands, washed in bluish, crystal water, and serving as habitat to a remarkable diversity of aquatic species and coral reefs. Witness the immense society of multi-colored fishes and delight in swimming and snorkeling. Here are the places to be visited in this tour: Puka Beach is 800 meters(2, 625 feet) long and fronted by a big cliff with a forest alongside it. At dusk you can see flying foxes (very big bats) flying across the top of the cliff. The sand is coarser than that of White Beach due to the small bits of coral mixed in with it. In the past the beach also used to be lined with puka shells, which is where it got its name from. Diniwid Beach is a small beach located on the north-western part of Boracay Island. Some part of Diniwid Beach is covered in lava rocks and slightly shaded by large rock cliff. It is a private beach-front where you can spend more time relaxing and less time fighting the crowded beach front. The beauty of Diniwid Beach leaps out at those rounding the corner for the first time. With hills, cliffs and rocks surrounding it, this beach is entirely different than any other on the island. Ilig-iligan Beach boasts powdery white sand and clear crystal water – there’s no doubt that Ilig-Iligan Beach is worth seeing. Because of its unpopularity and location, this beach often gets overlooked by tourists visiting Boracay Island. The actual beach is almost free of any development. There are no huge resorts on Ilig-Iligan, but instead, just a small patch of forest located behind the beach.

The tour will start at the pier where you will board an air-conditioned van for the 10-minute ride to Coron Town.  Your first stop will be at San Agustin Church. This church was founded on 1901 and is the only Catholic Church in the town.  Next you will head to the Municipal Plaza & Lualhati Park. Lualhati Park is known as Coron Boulevard. It is the local version of the Bay Walk of Metro Manila situated where you can see the beauty of the Coron Bay. Your last stop in Coron Town will be the Wet Market where locals sell different kinds of fish (fresh and dried) and souvenir items. Visit Lita Escardo Cashew Store "Coron Harvest" on the main road, the largest cashew retailer in town.  At the back of their house is a small factory, which you will visit and see how the cashew nuts are processed. You can buy different cashew products from plain, garlic, sugar coated and salted flavors. Your next stop will be the main highlight of the tour - The Maquinit Hot Springs. It is very popular and a not-to-be-missed attraction in Coron. This magnificent hot spring site is situated right amid the beauty of a hillside area. It is the only saltwater hot springs in The Philippines. The pool is completely filled with salt water coming directly from a nearby mountain. The temperature of the water varies from 86 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Initially you may feel the water is too hot but once you get accustomed to the temperature, it becomes very soothing and relaxing and is said to have therapeutic properties. The site is surrounded by mangroves and rocks making it a delight for eyes. Before proceeding back to pier, you will pass by a small fishing village to walk and interact with the locals and witness how they process their catch of fish which is one of their main sources of income.

You will meet your guide at the pier to board local outrigger boats for the 15-minute ride to Kayangan Lake. This excursion will allow you to come up close to the limestone cliffs of majestic Kayangan Lake. Siete Pecados is a cluster of seven islets. It is one of the best snorkeling spots in Coron and rich in marine life, corals and wide variety of school fish. Kayangan Lake is said to be the purest lake in the Philippines. A great challenge lies ahead in order to reach the lake. You will need to climb 163 steps to get into the opening of a small cave and there you can see the impressive view. Then you will need to go down 204 steps to access Kayangan Lake. Once you see the lake you will be in awe of its crystal clear water. The lake’s water is a mix of salty and fresh water. The lake is wide and deep, so you will be required to wear a life vest for safety purposes. Spend an hour at the lake swimming or snorkeling. Then walk back up the steps and down the steps to board your boat for the 15-minute ride to Siete Pecados for another hour of snorkeling and swimming. You will visit Banol Beach, which is a small stretch of sandy white beach surrounded by a majestic backdrop of limestone cliffs. Swim in its aquamarine and turquoise waters that is very relaxing to the senses. In this stop, you will enjoy a sumptuous local seafood and barbecue picnic lunch prepared especially for you. You will have a free time to enjoy the beach after lunch.

Conducted in a motorized boat, with guided commentary, the excursion will allow you to come up close to the limestone cliffs of majestic Kayangan Lake, and have a relaxing panoramic sailing around Coron Island passing and cruising through Siete Pecados, Kalachuchi Beach, and Kayangan Lake entrance and surrounding cliffs. Here is an adventure for snorkelers in some beautiful waters and one of the best snorkeling sites in the area because of the well preserved coral reef and diverse marine life. Your waiting van will take you on the 45-minute drive to Honda Bay where you will be provided with snorkeling gear and snorkel in a marina sanctuary that’s home to awesome coral reefs, a startling variety of fish and even starfish!. You will spend an hour snorkeling in Pambato Reef before boarding your boat to spend two full hours exploring Isla Pandan waters. Enjoy this delight half-day at the beach.

Recognized by UNESCO as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park was established in 1971 primarily to protect and preserve the old growth forest, fascinating wildlife, pristine beaches and one of the most amazing cave systems in the world.  Your air-conditioned van (6-7 guests per van) will take you on a 120-minute ride to the Sabang wharf where you will board a motorized boat for your 15-minute ride to the National Park.  You will then board another boat for a 45-minute river cruise inside the cave and see spectacular limestone mountain landscape and is the habitat of numerous endangered and endemic wildlife species. You will see mangroves, sea grass beds, and 11 scientifically unique minerals plus a 20-million-year-old Serenia fossil embedded in the cave wall. Then proceed to the Sheridan Beach Resort for lunch and free time before traveling back to your waiting ship

Travel from port to the Sandakan War Memorial ~ The Sandakan Memorial Park is sited on the original POW (Prisoners of War) camp which was set up during the WWII Japanese Occupation in 1942 - 1945. The camp was set up with 2 main sections; 1 section for the British POWs and the other for Australian POWs. Travel to Sandakan Wet Market. A walk around the local market reveals much about the local way-of-life. Local fish just freshly delivered off the fishing boats at the pier, local fruits picked from orchards nearby as well as from the jungles, local food fare - all can be found in this market. Next visit will be the Agnes Keith's Home ~ Agnes and Harry Keith's house sits atop a hill, overlooking the Sandakan Bay. In her first book, 'Land below the Wind,' she writes, ‘When we sat in that house and looked out through its open doors the harbor of Sandakan became a background to our entire world. I knew then that was where I wanted to live.' A museum now is housed in this bungalow showing the colonial life in the early 30's to the late 40's and the famed Canadian writer's life in Sabah, Borneo. After the visit to Agnes Keith's house, head to the nearby tea house for lunch. The English Tea House is a colonial style concept which was inspired by the famous Agnes Keith house.

Visit Sepilok Forest Reserve feeding platform and see the orphaned and injured orangutans who are brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return forest life. Sepilok is a primary lowland forest and the nearest place to visit a virgin jungle of Borneo, one of the few remaining rainforests in Sabah and witness the feeding of Orangutan in its natural habitat from a platform in the forest. Observe the fascinating diversity of plants and trees reaching the sky at the height of 164-295 feet (50-90 meters) tall (dipterocarp tree), that are more than 100 years old. Sepilok is known to have more 450 species of trees and more than 250 species of birds and good chance of sighting macaques, leaf monkeys and other mammals. The reserve is a source of seed material for the enrichment of other forested areas and remains a living gene bank of resources. Travel to Labuk Bay Proboscis Sanctuary, located towards the end of the road at the Coastline of Sandakan. Along the way, you’ll be passing by an area of Oil Palm plantations. You may see workers doing their daily tasks of harvesting and weeding the farm. A good experience to know as the guide will brief you on the details of how Oil Palm is being processed. Stop at a local venue for a buffet lunch. At the sanctuary you will find the unique and endemic Proboscis Monkey. The proboscis monkey is usually seen easily as they come out for the feeding times. The Proboscis has the freedom to roam in their natural habitat. If you are lucky you will get to see other animals too - Leaf Monkeys, Macaques - and a range of native wildlife to Sabah, Borneo including Hornbills. Travel back for your lunch at a local restaurant before you head to Sun Bear Conservation Centre to view the Sun Bear. Learn about the struggles and strains about rehabilitation efforts and programs for the Orangutans in the Sepilok Centre and also the Borneon Sun Bear at the Conservation Centre (BSBCC). The Borneon Conservation Centre opened its doors to the public and it expected to raise awareness on the iconic species and encourage research on the world's smallest bear. Back to your waiting coach to head to Sandakan township for a visit to the central market before travel back to the port.

Cultural experience, ancient historic charms, forts and buildings, architectural, history and interest, this tour has it all.  You will visit Paotere Harbor, a place to anchor the phinisi, the famous traditional Buginese schooners. These highly seaworthy ships are famous for their ability to cross the Pacific Ocean all the way to the African Coast. Then it’s a 30-minute drive to Fort Rotterdam, also known as Benteng Makassar, a 16th century fort built by the 9th king of the great Kingdom of Gowa. Its original name was Benteng Panyyua, but was later changed to Fort Rotterdam after the Gowan King conceded this building to the Dutch. Spend 90 minutes touring here before your 30-minute drive to Pantai Losari. Sunsets in the Makassar Strait can be viewed from a promenade at Losari Beach, Jalan Penghibur, or the Paotere anchorage at the north end of the city where Bugis schooners are berthed. Across the harbor is Kayangan Island, which can be reached in 15 minutes by ferry. You will have time for a meal and to shop and mingle with the locals here.

Tendering from the ship you will arrive at the Komodo Jetty which is the headquarters of Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The world-renowned wildlife island of Komodo is the desolate domain of a fierce and very rare species of reptile that bears the look of a prehistoric dinosaur and is appropriately called a Komodo Dragon.  Once ashore, you will be met by a local tour guide to begin the walking expedition of the island. Traveling in small groups with the guide and a park ranger, you will make your way along paths that lead through pockets of thorny vegetation and dry tropical grasslands to the viewing point. This first-hand look at Komodo will also serve to acquaint you with other notable species that inhabit the island, as well as the rich surrounding marine environment. Informative commentary will be happily provided by expert guides. You will then walk to the concreate pier to board a local wooden boat that will transfer you to Pink Beach. The snorkeling is excellent. Colorful crinoids, nudibranchs, giant clams, turtles, corals of numerous shaped and size, and multitude of reef and pelagic fish inhabit reefs which are within easy swimming distance of the beach and the diving around Komodo is some of the best in the world, especially for seeing soft corals.

Travel to Sekotong for a taste of local life before relaxing on beautiful Cocotinus Beach. You will have a 30-minute drive to Sekoton where you will tour a grass roof factory, where the island's thatched roofs are woven from alang-alang grass and rice straw. Then it’s a short drive to Cocotinue Beach, considered one of the island’s finest beaches.  You will have about 90 minutes of free time to swim in the warm crystalline waters of the Lombok Strait, sunbathe or comb the white-sand beach. Additional activities are available at your cost.

This will be a true cultural experience. You will board your motor coach for the 45-minute ride to Banyu Mulek village, famous for handmade pottery.  See the skilled villagers processing clay into beautiful export-quality pottery. At the local school, children are trained to make pottery from a very young age. Your tour will then proceed to Narmada Water Palace. The centerpiece here is a large artificial lake whose shape resembles Segara Anak in the caldera of the Rinjani Volcano. It was built in 1805 by the Raja of Mataram after he became too old to climb Rinjani to deposit offerings in the sacred lake there. The replica of the volcano’s lake was a repository for the Raja’s offerings. Narmada’s temple, Pura Kalasa, is still used and the Balinese Pujawali celebration is held here annually. Lingsar, another large temple complex built in 1714, is the place of worship for Wetu Telu Islam. The Hindu temple is in the northern section and features a fountain. Continue heading north, as the road rises over two small hills offering a panoramic view. At Senggigi Resort, you will enjoy a sumptuous Indonesian buffet lunch served at an international restaurant inside the resort.

Central Lombok is home to traditional Sasak villages. You’ll pass beautiful scenery of rice fields and palm trees, and stop at Banyu Mulek—famous for handmade pottery to see the skilled villagers processing clay into beautiful export-quality pottery. At the local school, children are trained to make pottery from a very young age. A visit to a large gallery will be included, where you can purchase finished products. Continue on to Sade village to view traditional Sasak houses, each house contains an interior platform, raised about a yard off the ground, which is made from a mixture of clay, dung, and straw. The surface is eventually polished to a high gloss finish, and the roof is made of thatching, with bamboo or palm walls. Sade is also home to the traditional bonnet-shaped rice barns—lumbungs—which are an iconic symbol of Lombok. Kuta Beach offers the best seascape in Lombok and an Indonesian buffet lunch will be served here at a beautiful tropical resort. Free time will be available at the resort, so relax and enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool or the crystal-clear blue water of the beach. On your return to port a stop will be made at Sukarara, a village known for it stunning Ikat and handwoven fabric.

Like any bustling city, Denpasar boasts department stores, restaurants, markets, and a thriving art scene. One of the sites  you will see is the  Bali Museum.  It looks like an ancient royal palace. The museum and its gazebos, garden courtyards, and carved stone entrance were built in 1931. Inside, the museum's collections include traditional arts and crafts of Bali that date from the Bronze Age, to contemporary art, theatrical masks, and woodcarvings. Nearby is the Jagatnatha Temple, one of 20,000 temples scattered throughout Bali. Dedicated to the supreme Hindu God, the Temple features a prominent "padmasana," which is a 7-tiered carved limestone throne of lotus blossoms.  Atop the throne sits a golden statue of the Hindu deity. The next stop will be at Puri Jero Kuta,  Home, of the Noble Family  that has detailed, unique Balinese architecture. This home consists of nine buildings namely Ancaksaji, Semanggen, Rangki, Pewaregan, Saren Raja, Saren Kangin, Paseban, Pemerajan Agung, and Pekandelan. Your guide will share information about the function of each building.  Following your tour you will depart for the airport.

Like any bustling city, Denpasar boasts department stores, restaurants, markets, and a thriving art scene. One of the sites  you will see is the  Bali Museum.  It looks like an ancient royal palace. The museum and its gazebos, garden courtyards, and carved stone entrance were built in 1931. Inside, the museum's collections include traditional arts and crafts of Bali that date from the Bronze Age, to contemporary art, theatrical masks, and woodcarvings. Nearby is the Jagatnatha Temple, one of 20,000 temples scattered throughout Bali. Dedicated to the supreme Hindu God, the Temple features a prominent "padmasana," which is a 7-tiered carved limestone throne of lotus blossoms.  Atop the throne sits a golden statue of the Hindu deity. The next stop will be at Puri Jero Kuta,  Home, of the Noble Family  that has detailed, unique Balinese architecture. This home consists of nine buildings namely Ancaksaji, Semanggen, Rangki, Pewaregan, Saren Raja, Saren Kangin, Paseban, Pemerajan Agung, and Pekandelan.   Your guide will share information about the function of each building.  Following your tour you will depart to your Windstar Hotel in the Nusa Dua area.

Travel to Sekotong for a taste of local life before relaxing on beautiful Cocotinus Beach. You will have a 30-minute drive to Sekoton where you will tour a grass roof factory, where the island's thatched roofs are woven from alang-alang grass and rice straw. Then it’s a short drive to Cocotinue Beach, considered one of the island’s finest beaches.  You will have about 90 minutes of free time to swim in the warm crystalline waters of the Lombok Strait, sunbathe or comb the white-sand beach. Additional activities are available at your cost.

This will be a true cultural experience. You will board your motor coach for the 45-minute ride to Banyu Mulek village, famous for handmade pottery.  See the skilled villagers processing clay into beautiful export-quality pottery. At the local school, children are trained to make pottery from a very young age. Your tour will then proceed to Narmada Water Palace. The centerpiece here is a large artificial lake whose shape resembles Segara Anak in the caldera of the Rinjani Volcano. It was built in 1805 by the Raja of Mataram after he became too old to climb Rinjani to deposit offerings in the sacred lake there. The replica of the volcano’s lake was a repository for the Raja’s offerings. Narmada’s temple, Pura Kalasa, is still used and the Balinese Pujawali celebration is held here annually. Lingsar, another large temple complex built in 1714, is the place of worship for Wetu Telu Islam. The Hindu temple is in the northern section and features a fountain. Continue heading north, as the road rises over two small hills offering a panoramic view. At Senggigi Resort, you will enjoy a sumptuous Indonesian buffet lunch served at an international restaurant inside the resort.

Central Lombok is home to traditional Sasak villages. You’ll pass beautiful scenery of rice fields and palm trees, and stop at Banyu Mulek—famous for handmade pottery to see the skilled villagers processing clay into beautiful export-quality pottery. At the local school, children are trained to make pottery from a very young age. A visit to a large gallery will be included, where you can purchase finished products. Continue on to Sade village to view traditional Sasak houses, each house contains an interior platform, raised about a yard off the ground, which is made from a mixture of clay, dung, and straw. The surface is eventually polished to a high gloss finish, and the roof is made of thatching, with bamboo or palm walls. Sade is also home to the traditional bonnet-shaped rice barns—lumbungs—which are an iconic symbol of Lombok. Kuta Beach offers the best seascape in Lombok and an Indonesian buffet lunch will be served here at a beautiful tropical resort. Free time will be available at the resort, so relax and enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool or the crystal-clear blue water of the beach. On your return to port a stop will be made at Sukarara, a village known for it stunning Ikat and handwoven fabric.

Tendering from the ship you will arrive at the Komodo Jetty which is the headquarters of Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The world-renowned wildlife island of Komodo is the desolate domain of a fierce and very rare species of reptile that bears the look of a prehistoric dinosaur and is appropriately called a Komodo Dragon.  Once ashore, you will be met by a local tour guide to begin the walking expedition of the island. Traveling in small groups with the guide and a park ranger, you will make your way along paths that lead through pockets of thorny vegetation and dry tropical grasslands to the viewing point. This first-hand look at Komodo will also serve to acquaint you with other notable species that inhabit the island, as well as the rich surrounding marine environment. Informative commentary will be happily provided by expert guides. You will then walk to the concreate pier to board a local wooden boat that will transfer you to Pink Beach. The snorkeling is excellent. Colorful crinoids, nudibranchs, giant clams, turtles, corals of numerous shaped and size, and multitude of reef and pelagic fish inhabit reefs which are within easy swimming distance of the beach and the diving around Komodo is some of the best in the world, especially for seeing soft corals.

Travel by local non-air-conditioned bus through beautiful landscapes ascending to the Mount Kelimutu. On the way a stop will be made at Detusuko for toilet break and refreshments. Kelimutu is famous for the unique three colored crater lakes.  These lakes change colors from time to time, and nobody can explain why, but stories vary from a changing mineral content of the water to angry ancestor spirits.  Whatever the reason, Kelimutu is certainly a highlight for anyone visiting Flores! The first lake is named Tiwu Ata Mbupu (lake of the ancestors' souls); the second is named Tiwu Nuwa Muri Koo Fai (lake of young people’s souls); and the third is called Tiwu Ata Polo (lake of evil spirits). Stop at the first viewing point and then continue walking up to the second viewing point that offers an amazing view of the Three Color Lakes. Lunch will be served in the picturesque village of Moni, ringed by volcanoes and dotted with rice fields before your scenic drive back to the ship.

Your tour will start with a visit to Panca Sila Square to see a big breadfruit tree, under which Soekarno  the former Indonesian President often sat working on political ideas to lead Indonesia to independence. It was here that he created the current Indonesian State philosophy of Pancasila. Next on to Bung Karno Museum, the old house occupied by former Indonesian President Soekarno during his years of exile. Most of the old furniture is still there. Re-board the bus and drive to Rada Ara Village. The road to the village offers breathtaking views of mountainous areas dotted with fertile tropical trees such as palm, cocoa, banana, and bamboo. The village is located on a quiet hillside with amazing natural surroundings.  Here you will meet with the Lionese people who still strongly adhere to their traditions.  Upon arrival, the Villagers will give you a warm welcome and perform a traditional dance. Local women will be at work weaving the traditional Lionese ikat. You will see the process from dying to weaving and the ready-made ones will be on display, available for purchase. On the way back to port a stop will be made at the traditional market of Ende, a bustling area filled with many kinds of local product, fruits, vegetables, and Ikat weaving.

Banda Neira has been one of the most important islands for the nutmeg trade and the two forts and some of the Dutch colonial houses still show the former splendor.  When your ship is approaching the Bandanaira Zonegat Strait, an armada of local tribes worrier troops in traditional costume will come out from its coastal hideaway with about 20 or more men’s aboard with long boat canoes “ Kora Kora” will row towards your ship with thunderous heroic noises and will lead the ship to the Bandanaira port. You will be welcomed by the traditional Gamelan instrument of Gong Sembilan at pier side. Start your tour with a visit to the Museum or Rumah Budaya to see the collection of Dutch artifacts and historical photographs.  Then on to the Old Church which was built by Mr. Pieter Both – Dutch Governor in 1611. Stop to visit the house of Captain Christopher Cole (the Captain of the British Marines) who captured Belgica Fort and the island of Naira. Head to the Dutch fortress of Benteng Nassau, still standing from 1608, see the mini-palace and the statue of William III along with the ex-office of VOC and Hatta House. Afterwards visit “the Perigi Rante” monument where Mr. Jan Pieter Zoen Coen, the governor of Hindia Belanda killed the rich people of Banda Island, because he wanted to take over their Nutmeg Plantations. From here the tour will continue to visit Belgica Fort, then on to a nutmeg plantation and the opportunity to taste nutmeg jam, and Cinnamon Crispy cake with a cup of tea or coffee. On return to the port there will be an opportunity to visit the local market where souvenirs are available to purchase.

Kokas is a small village located in the McClure Gulf, the group of small islands in this area Arguni, Andamata, Fior and Forir are known for their ancient rock drawings. These drawings on canyon walls were made using natural materials in red color, similar to human blood, and the local community often calls them “blood paintings.”  After arriving at McCluer Gulf, the ship will drop anchor at the nearest point of famous ancient blood paintings where your local guide will be waiting on the local boat. The guide will lead a tour to explore the famous ancient blood paintings on the steep rock cliffs walls, the uniqueness of the paintings is a picture of the hands of humans and animals, and since the red color of the paintings resembles the color of human blood, local communities believe this type of painting is a form of people who were cursed by a ghost. After lunch on board the ship, you will disembark at the nearby village and get a warm welcome by the village community who will perform local dances. You will have the opportunity to explore the village to see their simple life and enjoy refreshments of local snacks served by the villagers before returning to the ship.

Thursday Island is at the northern-most point of Australia, and boasts a rich history. It is the center of the Torres Strait Islands and offers visitors a unique educational opportunity. Join your driver/guide as you tour the island's most important sights. Depart the pier by coach for an overview and scenic drive. Your first stop will be at Green Hill Fort and the Torres Strait Historical Museum. Overlooking the entire island, the fort took 30 men two years to build. From the fort's high position, you will be rewarded with sweeping views of many of the Torres Strait islands, such as Wednesday, Friday, and Prince Charles Islands. Today the Fort houses two museums. The Military Museum displays a collection of artifacts showing the start of the fort, plus its role in the Second World War, when Australian Forces were stationed here to protect Northern Australia against possible Japanese attack. Spend a short time at the fort to view its original gun emplacements, underground tunnels, and the museum. Continuing your scenic drive, pass by the Japanese Pearl Divers Memorial, which is also an important part of life on Thursday Island. See the Customs House, a beautifully restored colonial building, and other highlights before returning to the pier.

Beautiful Thursday Island is even more impressive from above. Your helicopter flight will take you to places unreachable by land. Take a short ride by car to the helicopter departure point. Taking off from Sadies Beach and flying over your cruise ship your helicopter provides a great photo opportunity. Fly across to Prince Wales Island, admire spectacular aerial views of the remote Islands of the Torres Strait as you make you way to The Tip, the most northern point of Australia. Your 40-minute flight will return via the azure-colored waters and fringing reefs of Horn Island and landing back at Thursday Island.

It is a world-leading supplier of on-reef facilities for coral reef research and education. Tours take approximately 90 minutes once you have reached the research station. Departing from the Tender landing point near Lizard Island Resort you will make your way independently (recommend guided by ship’s escort) along the research road walk. The easy walk takes approximately 30 minutes to walk the 1.4 miles in each direction. A sandy road from the western end of the airstrip passes through woodland and leads to the Lizard Island Research Station. Vehicles use the road so you are advised to take care.
