Kayak past many small islands of the mangrove lagoon. Hike through a mangrove forest; along a scenic beach of coral and shell rubble with views overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Buck Island and French Cap in the distance. There are tidal pools, breathtaking volcanic cliffs, and the impressive Red Point geologic Blow Hole. Enjoy the excitement of a Hermit Crab race.  Snorkel in the clear, protected waters of the coral-fringed mangrove lagoon teeming with colorful marine life. Leaving the ship behind, you will travel by open air safari bus up St. Thomas' winding hills to Skyline Drive, glimpsing along the way the neighboring island of St. John. Stopping at "Skyline Drive" overlook you will view Charlotte Amalie's historic harbor nestled far below. On a clear day from here you can see St. Croix, the largest of the five U.S. Virgin Islands. Next  you will travel higher to the famed Mountain Top, to experience a spectacular view over "heart shaped" Magen's Bay Beach, rated one of the best in the world by National Geographic Society.  While enjoying these views you will have the opportunity to sample one (or all!) of the locally made rums - mango, pineapple, spiced or a 20+ year aged dark rum.  As you sip these rums, feast your eyes on more panoramas- in the distance are neighboring British Virgin Islands- Tortola, down to Virgin Gorda - some named by Christopher Columbus. You will be able to see over 20 nearby islands and the Atlantic Ocean.  All too soon your journey will conclude with a brief stop in Charlotte Amalie for guests wishing to disembark for shopping.  All remaining guests will be returned to the ship.

All aboard a semi-submersible to discover the rich undersea life surrounding St. Barts, without even getting wet! After boarding, you may choose to either stay outside on the open deck or enter the tunnel-like hull equipped with underwater windows. At the harbor’s entrance, keep watch for the many green turtles that frequent this area. Soon, the semi-sub passes over the wreck of the island freighter Marignan. Cross the southeastern edge of the St. Barts Marine Park and arrays of undersea marvels will soon be revealed before your eyes. The seabed is full of colorful coral reefs, and schools of Sergeant Major Fish. On your arrival at The Saints, the onboard crew will feed schools of fish. Don’t be surprised if seemingly hundreds of fish almost push against your window. You may even glimpse a shark or two! After approximately 10 minutes, your semi-sub heads back to the pier. You may wish to stay out on the upper deck for picturesque views of the coastline and graceful anchored yachts.

Admire impressive Victorian and Georgian architecture and view important landmarks such as the Berkeley Memorial Clock Tower and Independence Square, once a slave market and today host to a picturesque fountain and a centuries-old church. You will stop at the Fairview Great House and Tropical Garden. At this 300-year-old colonial property, you will explore perfectly preserved rooms, including the original kitchen with its volcanic stone and brick oven and the bathing room with its sun-warmed bath. Follow the stone bridge to the lush tropical botanical garden, where many of the plants such as palms and fruit trees date back as far as the 1700s. Then explore the 300-year-old Brimstone Fortress, perched 780 feet above sea level. This magnificent structure is the second largest of its type in the entire Western Hemisphere and is one of the best preserved. This Gibraltar of the West Indies is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and more battles were fought here than at any other single site in British and French naval history. Its spectacular panoramic views include part of the Kittitian coastline, countryside and five neighboring islands.

The St. Kitts Scenic Railway is a narrow-gauge railroad that was built almost a century ago to deliver sugar cane from the fields to the mill in Bassetèrre. Each railcar features seating on two levels. Fly along zip lines up to 1,400 feet in length, 25 stories above the ground! This is a spectacular 5-line zip line journey based at the Historic Wingfield Estate. After a short orientation, training session, and riding the first (trainer) line, you will hop into vehicles for a trek up the famous Valley of the Giants. You will see fantastic panoramic views of Brimstone Hill Fortress, Old Road Village, former sugar estates, the Caribbean Sea, and Mount Liamuiga. With a mile of zip lines you will soar at speeds up to 50 miles per hour.  Thanks to the cutting edge technology of this system you will fly hands and feet free, just like a bird. All you have to do is sit back, and enjoy the experience! You will also be given an opportunity to walk around the Wingfield Estate Ruins. View the first British masonry in the entire New World as well as the remnants of the different methods of processing sugar which are all on site. Experience the pleasure of snorkeling at several sites that are abundant with tropical fish and coral life. 

There will be a short 10-minute walk from the pier to the marina where your boat awaits. Then you will cruise the island’s pristine southeast peninsula, inhabited by the shy green vervet monkey.  Snorkeling opportunities include Ballets Bay, Shitten Bay, and Bugs Hole. Marine life varies but you may see: turtles, eagle rays and stingrays, schools of saltwater chub, snapper, angel fish, parrot fish, squirrel fish, and sand sharks. Many virgin reefs and extensive soft corals, fans, and sponges make up the reef life. Thirst-quenching non-alcoholic drinks, local beer and water will be provided.

Here is a unique way to experience the Caribbean! This exciting exploration will begin with a transfer from the dock to the Quad Bike (ATV) base. After an introduction and full orientation on the use of the bikes and safety precautions, you will be ready to mount the four-wheel ATV bikes for a wildly exhilarating adventure. Your experienced guide will lead you on a thrilling ride through cane fields and down country dirt tracks and up scenic slopes with views of neighboring islands. On the way you may also be able to taste local fruits in season.  Then it will be time once more to get back on the bikes and return to the tour base. Enjoy a cool drink before you will be transferred back to the pier.

This 2-hour fun adventure will introduce you to Dominica’s premier snorkel site, Champagne Reef, a local marine eco-system dotted with champagne bubbles, colorful fish, and an assortment of coral and sponge life. Your experience will begin with a transfer to Champagne Beach.  From the beach you will begin your snorkeling tour – much like swimming in a glass of champagne and through a stream of bubbles that rises from a submerged volcanic vent in the sea floor.  See juvenile and adult fish as well as colorful sponge and coral growths. The Balthazar River nestled in an exotic tropical rainforest is fed from sources deep in the island’s interior. Here is your opportunity to have a thrilling river tubing experience on what is known locally as the “Great River.”   You will take a 45-minute journey from St. George’s through the scenic hilly interior of the Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve to the Balthazar Estate. Your arrival will be followed by a safety briefing before you’ll be equipped with a life vest, modified inner tube, and a paddle. You will be accompanied by guides as you gently spin and swirl in the river currents. Marvel at the exotic views of tropical vegetation and wildlife as your thrilling river ride progresses. The Tower Estate is a unique property that is known as the Downton Abbey of Grenada. This estate has been the home of the Slinger Family since the mid 1940’s and is a beautiful 107-year-old historic Victorian-style great house that sits atop a small peak in the Parish of St. George.  It boasts a 1-1/2-acre lush tropical ornamental flower garden, surrounded by flowering trees, shrubs, vegetables, fruit trees and the island’s world-famous array of spices.  The magnificent stone and wood building features mahogany ceilings, hand-crafted paneled walls, furnished with period antiques, reminiscent of yesteryear and adorned with a unique collection of maps and prints that hold the keys to rich, historical stories of Grenada. Your tour will include a tour of the garden and the house where you will enjoy light snacks that will include Grenada's famous chocolate and incredible blue tea.

Your tour will begin with a leisurely drive along the Gold Coast, home to many wealthy residents, and will take you to the stunning area of Bathsheba.  This is where the Atlantic surf pounds the coastline and it is a famous spot for international and local surfing competitions.  A walk on the beach is a must. Heading into the hills, you will arrive at St. John’s Church. There are stunning views from the churchyard - a perfect photo opportunity.  The church contains an interesting sculpture depicting the Madonna and Child with the infant St. John. The graveyard contains the tomb of Ferdinand Paleologus, a descendant of the Byzantine Imperial family. The present building was constructed in 1836, and the pulpit is constructed from six different kinds of wood: ebony, locust, Barbados mahogany, manchineel, oak and pine. Through sleepy country villages and sugar cane fields,  you will make your way to Sunbury House dating back to 1650. The house was destroyed by fire in 1995, and was gracefully restored and re-opened in 1996. It possesses one of the country's superior collections of antiques. The cellar houses a unique collection of antique carriages, the largest collection in the Caribbean, as well as many items used in the domestic life of the plantation. Your tour will begin with a leisurely drive along the Gold Coast, home to many wealthy residents, and will take you to the stunning area of Bathsheba.  This is where the Atlantic surf pounds the coastline and it is a famous spot for international and local surfing competitions.  A walk on the beach is a must. Heading into the hills, you will arrive at St. John’s Church. There are stunning views from the churchyard   - a perfect photo opportunity.  The church contains an interesting sculpture depicting the Madonna and Child with the infant St. John. The graveyard contains the tomb of Ferdinand Paleologus, a descendant of the Byzantine Imperial family.  The present building was constructed in 1836, and the pulpit is constructed from six different kinds of wood: ebony, locust, Barbados mahogany, manchineel, oak and pine. Through sleepy country villages and sugar cane fields, you will make your way to Sunbury House dating back to 1650. The house was destroyed by fire in 1995, and was gracefully restored and re-opened in 1996. It possesses one of the country's superior collections of antiques. The cellar houses a unique collection of antique carriages, the largest collection in the Caribbean, as well as many items used in the domestic life of the plantation. Depart from the ship and take a short ride via tender to the small pier at Man-O-War Bay.  On arrival you will board a coach for a 15-minute delightful scenic and mountainous drive to the town of Speyside to the Blue Waters Inn where a glass bottom boat awaits. Cruise out of the tiny harbor and down the emerald coast before heading out to Angel Reef. A favorite for divers around the world, Angel Reef boast crystal-clear water providing visibility up to 100 feet. Enjoy another perspective of Tobago as your guide will highlight points of interest and share his knowledge of this underwater environment. Float over 1,000-year-old coral formations. Observe huge sponges and the world’s largest single brain coral. You will see colorful reef fish and diverse marine life in their natural habitat. The boat will drop anchor and you are invited to snorkel, swim or simply relax on board. Cold drinks will be served before your return to Blue Waters Inn where you will have the opportunity to spend some free time before your journey back to Charlotteville to re-join your ship.

You will depart Charlotteville in a mini-bus and travel up and over the lush mountains for a scenic drive along the eastern seashore. Stop at the Speyside Lookout and enjoy sweeping views of mountains, coast and offshore islands. Continue on through tiny villages clinging to the mountainsides, past picturesque bays, as you learn about Tobago’s turbulent history and the fascinating mélange of people that make up her present citizenry. You will make your way to Gilpin Trace where your trained Naturalist Guide will meet you to begin your trek. The hike will take you through the oldest rainforest in the Western Hemisphere, the Gilpin Trace, famous for its abundance of birdlife. Learn about Tobago’s indigenous flora and fauna as your guide will point out the most interesting species. Stop for a break, to listen to the sounds of the forest along the way. Enjoy a quiet moment in this beautiful forest before returning to your mini-bus to make your way back to the ship.

Enjoy a half-day tour of Tobago’s rainforest.  Your drive will take you along Tobago’s Windward Coast to Roxborough and entry to the Argyle Waterfalls Trail, where you will turn off the Main Ridge and enter the oldest Forest Reserve in the Western Hemisphere.  At the rainforest, a Naturalist Guide will take you for a 20-minute hike (each way) through lush tropical vegetation, abundant in plant and wildlife. Next you will visit the 3-tiered Argyle Waterfalls, where you may swim in the natural pool or simply take in the tranquility of the reserve. After your rainforest and waterfall adventure, you will make your way back to Charlotteville and re-board your waiting ship.

Please note: Remember your sunblock and beach towels. You may bring along your own snorkel gear from the yacht and you will be taken ashore by small boat as it is illegal to anchor on the reef.

Depart the Soufriere dock for a short transfer through the historic town of Soufriere and up through the hills to Fond Doux Plantation set on 135 acres of land. Locally owned and operated, this award winning property is over 25 years old. Your time on the plantation will begin with a guided walking tour, where you will learn about the cocoa process, chocolate making and the rich history of the island. Situated among the cocoa groves, you will not only get to smell the cocoa throughout the tour, but will also have the opportunity to see the various stages of the chocolate making process. Enjoy sampling fruits in season grown on the property and a refreshing drink before returning to the port.

Your excursion will begin with a drive through the quaint town of Soufriere, bypassing the town square and Cathedral.  Your first stop will take you to the Botanical Gardens and Diamond Baths which was once a famous spot for Napoleon’s wife, Josephine. Marvel at the tropical plants carefully arranged along the pathway. Enjoy a view of the waterfall observing how the mineral water flows into a stream. Just a short drive away is the Toraille Waterfall set amid tropical surroundings.  Spend time dipping in the natural cold water pool under the cascading falls. Your journey will continue with a short drive to a nearby beach with the Pitons as your backdrop. Spend time soaking in the sea and sun or simply relaxing on the sand.  Your time in Soufriere comes to an end as you are transferred back to the Soufriere dock.

A nature lover’s paradise awaits, as you depart the Soufriere dock for a drive through the town of Soufriere and then into a small community surrounded by lush rainforest, before arriving at the entrance of the Grand Eden Estate.  Your friendly nature guide awaits and your encounter with nature begins the moment you step off your bus.  Your time spent in nature starts as you are guided through well designed natural trails, learning about the flora and fauna. Enjoy sightings of a variety of birds, learn about the medicinal uses of plants along the trail and feel the fresh breeze, as you stop and admire the amazing scenery that surrounds you.  See the island’s most photographed landmark, the Pitons and the island’s tallest mountain Mount Gimmie. Continue on to the farm and sample fruit freshly picked off the trees. Learn about planting methods used and taste fresh juice made from fruit grown on the estate. Depart Grand Eden Estate for your return journey back to the Soufriere docks and ship feeling rejuvenated from your time spent in nature.

Soufriere is blessed with many natural wonders both above and below the surface of the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. These include some of the healthiest coral reefs in the Caribbean.  Depart the Soufriere dock on board a motorized Catamaran or a 38-ft Bertram for your snorkel adventure at one of the island's Marine Reserves.  Anchored or tied to a mooring, you will enter the water directly from the boat. Spend time snorkeling at a Marine Reserve, home to a variety of colorful tropical reef fish and coral.  After your snorkel adventure, board a boat for a cruise to the Soufriere dock and ship.

Depart the Soufriere docks for a short drive to Chef Ornlando's Restaurant where you will be met by Chef Orlando and his team, with a cold towel and welcome drink. In the simple and delightful restaurant setting, Chef Orlando will demonstrate his fine culinary expertise and create some mouthwatering fusions. Interact with the Chef and learn cooking tips for creating amazing dishes. Afterwards, you’ll be seated to enjoy a delicious 3-course Caribbean style lunch before heading back to the Soufriere docks and ship.

Discover the scents and aromas of the “Isle of Spice” on this full day sightseeing tour by motor coach. Your driver will follow the picturesque West Coast, rich in history and color, to the Diamond Chocolate Factory in Victoria, which produces the Jouvay chocolate ranked by the National Geographic in the top 10 of the Best Chocolate in the World. You will learn how chocolate (tree to bar) is produced and exported.  A delicious chocolate tasting and sampling will conclude this enjoyable visit to one of the most amazing sites in the Caribbean. Next, drive north for a magnificent view of the Grenadine Islands to the fishing town of Sauteurs, located at the northern point of the island. The Balthazar River nestled in an exotic tropical rainforest is fed from sources deep in the island’s interior. Here is your opportunity to have a thrilling river tubing experience on what is known locally as the “Great River.”   You will take a 45-minute journey from St. George’s through the scenic hilly interior of the Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve to the Balthazar Estate. Your arrival will be followed by a safety briefing before you’ll be equipped with a life vest, modified inner tube, and a paddle. You will be accompanied by guides as you gently spin and swirl in the river currents. Marvel at the exotic views of tropical vegetation and wildlife as your thrilling river ride progresses. Several pools along the way provide the perfect opportunity to catch your breath. Finally sample a much-deserved rum punch or local fruit juice. All too soon, it’s time to return to the ship.

The Tower Estate is a unique property that is known as the Downton Abbey of Grenada. This estate has been the home of the Slinger Family since the mid 1940’s and is a beautiful 107-year-old historic Victorian-style great house that sits atop a small peak in the Parish of St. George.  It boasts a 1-1/2-acre lush tropical ornamental flower garden, surrounded by flowering trees, shrubs, vegetables, fruit trees and the island’s world-famous array of spices.  The magnificent stone and wood building features mahogany ceilings, hand-crafted paneled walls, furnished with period antiques, reminiscent of yesteryear and adorned with a unique collection of maps and prints that hold the keys to rich, historical stories of Grenada. You will see how the people of Aruba live and be taken to sights that are off the beaten path.  Highlights of this tour include the California Lighthouse, a structure over 90 feet high, built of local stones, the Ayo Rock Formation, that is the Stone Henge of Aruba. You will be able to climb the rocks to take pictures if you wish.  You will also see Bushiribana, the ruins of one of Aruba’s famous gold mines, and the Natural Bridge, a gorgeous stretch of coral limestone that is 25 feet high and 100 feet long, making it one of the largest in the world.  Other experiences include climbing through the gold ruins, sampling aloe beauty products, and learning about Aruba’s rich cultural history.
