Discover the personality, charm and hidden beauties of this vibrant city in a local, fun and eco-friendly way. You will begin this panoramic trip from the port and drive along the Coast of Duke Trpimir and Zadar marina toward the viewpoint, where you will take a short break of 10 - 15 minutes to enjoy the panoramic view and to learn basic information about Zadar. Continue towards the city center through various neighborhoods to the Peninsula. After passing the city bridge you will make a stop at the Sea Organ, where you will hear information about the Sea Organ and  The Greeting to the Sun. Your tour will continue to the Roman Forum and hear a story about its origin before you head to the port of Fosa and the Land Gate. Take a 5-minute break and get acquainted with the origin of the Land Gate, from where you will return to the city center for an orientation tour through Zadar with your experienced English speaking guide.

Zadar, Flavors & Sights of Zadar

Your tour will begin on the pier and soon you will find yourself in the heart of this magnificent Old Town. This walking tour includes a visit to the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, the finest example of Romanesque architecture in Zadar and built in 1324. It is dedicated to St. Anastasia, whose stone sarcophagus is in the apse to the left of the high altar. Further on your way you will pass close to the Church of St. Donatus which is believed to have been built at the beginning of the 9th century. It is circular in plan, with three naves.  You will visit the 16th century St Mary Church with a Romanesque bell-tower built at the beginning of the 12th century. On the upper floor of the convent, open to the public are rooms containing a collection of goldsmith´s work, relics and other valuable items. Your tour will end with a Marascino Liqueur Tasting. Liqueur production in Zadar is almost 400 years old. This liqueur is a bittersweet, clear liqueur flavored with Marasca cherries, which are grown in Dalmatia, Croatia, mostly around the city of Zadar. Honey is also part of the ancient recipe. The recipe for this liqueur was created by the apothecaries of the Dominican monastery at Zara, now Zadar, in Dalmatia, at the beginning of the 16th century.
 
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking over cobbled and uneven surfaces, with 40 steps to reach the collection of goldsmiths' work inside the Church of St. Mary. Explore on foot the town of Hvar, which sports a thick-walled fortress overlooking the harbor. In the very heart of the port is a large arsenal that houses Europe’s first community theater (1612), and three bell towers that soar above the jumble of tiled rooftops, pointing to the source of Hvar’s magic: the sun and limitless blue skies. In the town, the streets and people converge in an expansive piazza, the largest in all of Dalmatia, which connects the older part of town to the 15th century side. This is a pedestrian-only area. Your guide will lead you to the Cathedral of St. Stephen, with its treasury and bell tower. Walk to the 15th century Franciscan monastery with its old refectory, and the church with its remarkable collection of paintings.

Explore the beautiful city known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic' on this walking tour. Take a walk along the Stradun, the glass-like main promenade that runs from the Pile to Ploce gates, following the line of the channel that once divided the town into two parts. Along the way, view some of the landmarks of Dubrovnik. See outside of the Franciscan Monastery with the Old Pharmacy, opened in 1317 and the third oldest in Europe, the Big Onofrio's Fountain that brought water to the town, the once mint and customs office that used to be located in the Sponza Palace, the Church of St Blaise – Dubrovnik's patron saint, the magnificent Rector's Palace and many other edifices created through centuries that made Dubrovnik the UNESCO site it is today. Upon walking along the main promenade continue toward the City Walls. The City Walls were completed in the 13^th century. The ramparts are intact and encircle the old city with a circumference of more than a mile and a half. Ascending the stairway at Pile Gate, you will soon reach the top of the wall where your guide will lead you on a walking tour along the  Walls. You will see the gorgeous Minčeta Fortress, St. John`s Fortress and Bokar Fortress. Reaching the Stradun, you will come in the very center of the Old Town and will have an opportunity to explore the town on your own before returning  back to the yacht.

Here you will have the unique opportunity to taste some of the finest wines from the region, and also meet with wine producer Mr. Andro Crvik, who will give a presentation and speech about wines of Croatia and this particular region. Start with a 45-minute scenic coach drive that will take you along the spectacular Adriatic Coast. You will drive south of Dubrovnik Riviera, passing the charming Zupa Dubrovacka with numerous small villages and resorts along the coast. You will arrive at the small village of Komaji and the Crvik family’s renowned vineyards and winery. Here you will have unique opportunity to taste some of the finest wines from this region, but also meet with wine producer Mr. Andro Crvik who will make presentation and speech about wines of Croatia and this particular region.  Back aboard the coach you will return to Dubrovnik’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a walking tour accompanied by an insightful guide. From Pile Square you will stroll along the Stradun, passing such historical sites as the Franciscan Monastery, St. Blasius Church, Onofriou’s Fountain, and the Sponza Palace. After the guided walking tour enjoy free time in the Old Town before your return to the ship.

This trip is a unique combination of asphalt and off road, sea side and mountain scenery and different climates. It starts from Kotor with a scenic mountain drive towards the mountain village of Ivanova Korita. Once arrived at Ivanova Korita, located at the foot of Mount Lovcen National Park, and after a tour introduction and safety briefing you will receive your helmet, board your 2-person ATV and take the asphalt road towards the Ivanov Konak restaurant, from where you will take the Austro - Hungarian off road for 5 miles (8km) across Lovcen Mountain National Park. During this tour you will enjoy the beautiful refreshing shadow of the thick beech forest that embraces the road like a tunnel. A photo stop will be made at the place that provides the most attractive view of the  2 highest peaks on Lovcen followed by the place where King Nikola used to arrive to take a rest and enjoy the stunning view of Budva Riviera, Boka Bay and Tivat. Leaving the off road behind, you will pass one of the oldest katuns in Lovcen, continue along the asphalt road  and arrive at Ivanova Korita, where your adventure will conclude.

Corfu, Mon Repo Palace & Corfu Town *

To begin the tour you will pass through the main part of town before entering the delightful countryside. You will notice that Corfu is more lush and verdant than most Greek islands. This becomes apparent as you pass groves of olive, orange and lemon trees, interfused with tall, graceful cypresses on your way to the village of Gastouri. Here you will visit the Achillion, the mansion built by the Empress Elisabeth of Austria and later owned by Kaiser Wilhelm II. The mansion has been restored by the state and the gardens with their statues have been left intact for visitors to admire. The tour will continue to Kanoni. At this site you will see the old cannon from which the name Kanoni came from. From above you will see the nunnery of Vlacherna and Mouse Island in the far distance. You will return to the town by a different route. There you can enjoy a lovely walk through the narrow, balconied streets of the old district on the way to visiting the beautiful church of St. Spiridon before returning to the quayside.

Corfu, Paleokastritsa & Boat Trip

This tour visits Paleokastritsa, the area of unique natural beauty on the northwestern shores of Corfu. It is known as the “Capri of Greece” for its rocky promontories cloaked in pine and cypress trees extending out into the sea, hiding small sandy bays and coves with crystal clear turquoise waters glimmering under the bright sun. In Paleokastritsa, you will take a 30-minute boat ride to the famous grottos of the area, the sea caves of “Nafsika,” “Saint Nikolas,” and the “Blue Eye.” Here, the natural ground formations combined with the minerals in the ground and the natural sunlight give life to amazing forms, colors and optical illusions. Upon your return to the main beach, you have free time to enjoy a refreshing dive in the turquoise waters, sunbathe on the soft sand or beach walk, before boarding the coach for the drive uphill to the traditional village of Lakones. You will be driving up the very same serpentine-like, narrow road where the famous car chase in the James Bond movie “For your Eyes only” was filmed.  In the village of Lakones, you can admire local village architecture more reminiscent of Italy than of typical Greek villages, before enjoying a “meze” (Greek snack) and tasting wines of the island at the local café at the “Bella Vista,” a location known for the spectacular and breathtaking views it commands over Paleokastritsa.

Corfu: Corfu Mountain Biking Experience

This cycle tour offers you the chance to explore the local countryside and village life, in a more sportive fashion. Leaving from the port by coach, you will have a 20-minute drive to the mountain bike station in Dassia, where you will select your bike and receive the necessary instructions. In the company of your local guide, your mountainbike adventure will begin with a short and easy uphill climb to the village of Kato (Lower) Korakiana.  Once there you will have a short rest at a traditional “kafeneio” coffee shop, before continuing up the narrow village asphalt road to the village of Ano (Upper) Korakiana, one of Corfu's most colorful and traditional villages resting on the foothills of Mount Pantokrator, with excellent views over 'the Land of the Gods,' the inner plains of the island stretching below. Via a narrow paved alley, you will then make your way to the picturesque village of Saint Marcos (Agios Markos), an old Venetian settlement with stone-built houses –  most of which have been carefully restored to their original condition by their caring owners –  and a Byzantine chapel. At the local 'Panorama' Taverna you will enjoy a light but heartening “meze” after which you will make your way down the hill towards the blue sea and follow the coastal road back to the mountainbike station. From there enjoy a brief drive to the port.

Corfu: Greek Culinary Lesson at a Corfian Private Villa

Your tour will start with a visit to the historic center of Old Corfu Town for a brief walking guided tour of the pedestrian-only Old Town, wandering around in its narrow winding cobbled streets “kandounia,” visiting the Church of the Patron St. Spyridon with its priceless collection of icons and offerings. You then reboard your coach and the tour will proceed to the beautiful Kommeno Bay, one of the most exclusive areas on the island. Here, on the top of the hill  197 feet (60 meters) above sea level), you will be welcomed at the luxurious “Villa of the Roses.” Its name derives from the numerous varieties of rosebushes that adorn its lush garden. Here you will have the opportunity to have a hands on private Greek cooking lesson done by a local professional chef who will let you in on the secrets of the classic traditional Greek recipes. Your tour will commence with a walk through the narrow streets within the castle walls, so tiny that in many places only two people can walk side by side. This cathedral dates back to the 13th century, but features alterations made during the Venetian occupation of Monemvasia. Four surviving ancient Byzantine icons are on display.

Leaving the quayside, you will proceed along a picturesque and twisting road on a 45-minute drive, towards the site of Epidaurus. The famous Theater of Epidaurus is the best-preserved ancient Greek Theater. Located next to the sanctuary-hospital of Asclepius, the ancient Greek God of Healing, the theater’s function was directly connected with this sanctuary.Theater was very highly regarded in antiquity. The Ancient Greeks seemed to know that good psychological condition was beneficial to those suffering from mental and psychological illnesses. For this reason they encouraged patients to watch theatrical performances. Famous for its superb acoustics, the theater was built in the 4th century BC and had a capacity of about 12,000 spectators. People arrived from all over the Greek world in order to attend the religious events dedicated to Asclepius. The architect who designed and built the theater was one of the best architects in Greece. Due to his excellent design, the acoustics are so good, one can be sitting right at the top in the last row and still hear even a coin dropping the middle of the stage. After your visit, your tour will continue to the ruins of Mycenae. The first in-depth excavations were carried out by the German archaeologist Schliemann in 1876, who was obsessed with finding the grave of Agamemnon. His diligent work exposed the famous Lion’s Gate, the entrance to the city, which contains the shaft burial graves of some ancient nobles. A short distance away is the Beehive Tomb, so-called due to its unusual shape.  Afterward, return to the pier.

Nafplio: Wine Paths of Argolis

The Peloponnese wine region is historically significant for the wine world. During the Venetian rule of the Middle Ages, sweet Malvasia wines began to be traded all over Europe, especially to big centers like London and Paris. The modern Peloponnese wine region is one of the most viticulturally productive areas in Greece. The millenary Greek wine tradition is present in Peloponnesian wines, where native grape varieties such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, and Mavrodaphne are grown. The wines of the Peloponnese are complex and interesting, from fresh and minerally whites to full-bodied reds. The Peloponnese wine region is the largest vineyard area in Greece, representing around 31% of wine production in the country with eight main subregions. Today you will follow a wine path of Argolis by visiting 2 wineries, Gofas Winery and Semeli Estate. The Gofas family cultivates its own vineyards and has delivered wine from generation to generation. In 1959 the family decided to utilize the proprietary vineyard in the Κoutsi and Daphne areas. The first vinification was made in linen, in the wine press in the family home in Nemea with manual vinification means. In 1998 the young Constantine Gofas born and raised as a viticulturist took over the family business, giving it a new impetus to a steady upward course. The winery has been modernized with new machinery but managed to retain its family aura. In 2011 the winery relocated to Koutsi village in a privately owned vineyard next to the mythical river Asopos. After the visit and tasting, your tour will continue to Semeli Estate. Founded in 1979, Semeli is a leading Greek winery and one of the country’s most significant wine-related developments. With deep roots in time-honored traditions Semeli produces wines of exceptional quality. The sunny Mediterranean climate and the extraordinary terroir, combined with the expert craftsmanship of their winemakers and the successful blending of indigenous and international varieties, result in wines of distinct character that have earned the respect of experts and captured the hearts of wine lovers worldwide. At the end of the wine tasting enjoy a light lunch before returning to Napflio and the awaiting yacht.

Mykonos, Delos Discovery

Explore the tiny uninhabited island of Delos, one of the most important archaeological sites in all Greece. Start your journey with a 45-minute ferry ride to this richly historic site. Delos was the major center of the ancient Greek world and the mythical birthplace of the god Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Your 2½-hour guided stroll includes such attractions as the Sanctuary of Apollo with its three temples dating from the 6th and 5th centuries B.C. To the west of this sanctuary lies the Sacred Lake, where Apollo was reputedly born. Standing guard over the Sacred Lake are nine replicas of the famous marble lions, which were a gift from the people of Naxos in the 7th century B.C. Other attractions include the amphitheater and the nearby theater quarter where wealthy owners built opulent houses with grand colonnaded courtyards. The island’s checkered history finally led to its destruction in 88 B.C. by Mithridates, the King of Pontus. Large-scale restoration work has continued for many years and in 1990 the island was declared a World’s Cultural Heritage Site, protected by UNESCO. Your guided walk concludes back at the ferry, for direct return to Mykonos. On arrival there, you are free to return to the yacht at your leisure.

Ermoupoli, Highlights of Syros

During the 19^th century Ermoupoli was Greece’s principal port and stands on a natural amphitheater site. You will board your motor coach that will take you from the port up the long, steep hill to the top where you will see the Cathedral of St. George. You will visit this 14^th century building before descending on foot to pass by the Cappuchin Monastery of St. John. Continue your descent to the bottom of the hill and re-board your coach for the drive across the island. You will pass the villages of Vari and Chroussa and reach the village of Posidonia. You will see the outside of the Tsiropina Mansion, a building that used to belong to one of the most renowned families in Greece and  used to serve as the Town Hall.  Next you will travel to the seaside village of Finikas where you will stop for refreshments. Continue on your scenic drive through the villages of  Galissas and Talanta on your way back to Ermoupoli. Here your guide will take you on a walking tour visiting the main sites of this beautiful town.

Syros: Syros Walking tour & Cooking Demo

Enjoy your guided walk of Ermoupouli, the main town of Syros island and capital of Cyclades group of islands. Vist the impressive Church of St. Nicholas, the Vaporia quarter with its neoclassical mansions, and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. Conclude your tour at a local traditional restaurant were the owner will let you in on some of the secrets behind some of her traditional recipees followed by lunch. Afterwards, you can either walk back to the yacht with your guide or time permitting may choose to remain in town for some leisure time and stroll back to the yacht at your own pace.

Kusadasi, Ephesus & Ancient Houses

Ancient Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the greatest outdoor museums in Turkey and perhaps in the world. Although now in ruins, it was originally founded by the Carian and Leleg native peoples. Your two-hour walking tour begins after a 30-minute drive from the pier. Magnificent vistas await – including the glorious Celsus Library façade, the Grand Amphitheater and the Temple of Hadrian. The Terrace Houses owned by the wealthy and influential lie opposite Hadrian’s Temple, in a newly excavated section. Their fine decorative mosaics and frescoes give a fascinating insight into ancient lifestyles. Terrace Houses on the slopes of Bulbul Mountain are accessed by steps, with their roofs forming terraces for those houses above them. Back in Kusadasi, there’s an opportunity to see a carpet-making demonstration, to independently explore the town or perhaps browse among the shops before taking an easy stroll back to the ship.

Kusadasi, Ephesus and Virgin Marys House

Take a step back in time on this excursion to the Virgin Mary’s House and ancient Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A 30-minute drive will bring you to the House of the Virgin Mary, where she is said to have lived the last years of her life. This hallowed site, which has been officially declared a Roman Catholic shrine, has hosted three Papal visits since 1967.  Then you will take a 10-minute drive to Ephesus, where you will see with the Odeon Theatre, the Celsus Library and Hadrian Temple. This impressive Corinthian-style temple was dedicated in A.D. 118 and reconstructed in the 4th century. You will see the Great Theatre, dating back to the Hellenistic period. It was at this monumental site that St. Paul preached. As its acoustics remain excellent, this theatre is still in use today. The Marble Road which runs between the Theater and the Celsus Library is part of a sacred walkway. On your return, you will sip apple tea as a myriad of colors unfold before your eyes during a carpet-making demonstration.  Or, you may return directly to the yacht, or remain in Kusadasi to shop or explore the town independently.

Kusadasi, Best of Ephesus

The first place you will visit on this exciting tour will be the Virgin Mary’s House. Archaeological evidence shows that the little house dates from the 6th century but that the foundations were from the first century. Next you will visit the Ephesus ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site predominantly from the later Roman period. Next, you will visit the Ephesus Archaeological Museum. This small museum in Selcuk boasts an incredible collection of Hellenistic and Roman statues, carved reliefs and artifacts unearthed from the ruins of Ephesus. The famous statue of Artemis (goddess of fertility) is housed here. Then, your tour will continue to the ruins of the Basilica of St John. The Basilica had a cruciform plan with four domes along its longitudinal axis and a pair flanking the central dome to form the arm of the cross. Under the central dome was the grave of St John. Lunch will be served at a lovely local restaurant on the way back to Kusadasi. You will have a fabulous view of the harbor and the ship.Upon your return to Kusadasi, you may enjoy a carpet weaving demonstration and some time for shopping. Explore the town and return to the ship.

Patmos, Monastery & Cave of St John

An island of rare beauty captivating the visitor at first glance, Patmos has a picturesque harbor dominated by the imposing Monastery of St. John standing on the hill above. Leaving Skala harbor, you will take a 10-minute drive to the impressive village of Chora. The Monastery of St. John is situated among gleaming white houses forming a startling contrast to its dark mass. Built in 1088, it has thick, high walls crowned all around with battlements and a total of eight chapels. The courtyard is laid with pebbles and decorated with arches through which one can see the intricately designed frescoes adorning the chapel entrance. The museum houses a magnificent collection of jeweled chalices, crowns and crosses, icons and religious paintings, including an original El Greco. Your tour will continue with a visit to the Grotto of St. John, a 17th century monastery built around the cave where St. John lived for two years while he wrote of the Apocalypse. Inside you can see the stone which he is said to have used as a pillow. After this memorable tour, you will embark the coach for the short ride back to the port.

Monemvasia Castle

Monemvasia is unique among ruined medieval cities in that it is entirely built on a rock that appears to be barren when seen from the mainland. Your tour will commence with a walk through the narrow streets within the castle walls, so tiny that in many places only two people can walk side by side. You will see the ruins of houses and Byzantine churches — most in ruins with the fortunate exception of the Church of Christ Elkomenos. This cathedral dates back to the 13th century, but features alterations made during the Venetian occupation of Monemvasia. Four surviving ancient Byzantine icons are on display.
