A great way to see Anguilla and its beautiful beaches is by water and it is especially fun, when you pilot your own 2-person watercraft. At the meeting point, close to the pier, the staff will gear you up and give you a short safety briefing prior to starting off on your adventure. You will follow your guide out on the open ocean and along the coastline of the island.  Want to go fast and speed passed the coastline, feeling the wind whipping through your hair? Prefer to take it slow and tuck up close to the shore to see the sights? The choice is yours and the sights are incredible.  On the ocean, on your own watercraft, you will have the chance to explore all of the little secret beaches, those that aren't on the map, those that you can't reach via roads. One of those is Little Bay, the tiniest beach on Anguilla, where you will stop for a snorkeling break. Board your privatized speedboat and set off to your first snorkel spot at Little Bay, the tiniest beach on Anguilla and one of the most beautiful locations to snorkel. It is also one of the most private beaches on Anguilla, since the only way to get there is by foot or by water, and since it is protected by high cliffs on three sides there is hardly any surf, making it a perfect snorkel stop. Snorkeling in these crystal-clear warm waters will be a rewarding experience with plenty of colorful fish, squid and shells. In general, Anguilla is well known for its snorkeling and has an abundance of fish; you can find the feisty little black-barred Sergeant Major and plenty of colorful wrasses, snappers and grunts. Then on to the second snorkel stop, which is Shoal Bay, where you will find a reef abundant with coral and sea fans, along with Parrot Fish, Blue Tang and even Trunk Fish, the ones that look like little triangular boxes. The third and last snorkel spot will be Sandy Island, also famous for its excellent snorkeling with plenty to be seen. After this last stop, rum punch will be served and the guests will return to the pier in Sandy Ground.

All aboard a semi-submersible to discover the rich undersea life surrounding St. Barts, without even getting wet! After boarding, you may choose to either stay outside on the open deck or enter the tunnel-like hull equipped with underwater windows. At the harbor’s entrance, keep watch for the many green turtles that frequent this area. Soon, the semi-sub passes over the wreck of the island freighter Marignan. Cross the southeastern edge of the St. Barts Marine Park and arrays of undersea marvels will soon be revealed before your eyes. The seabed is full of colorful coral reefs, and schools of Sergeant Major Fish. On your arrival at The Saints, the onboard crew will feed schools of fish. You will stop at the Fairview Great House and Tropical Garden. Follow the stone bridge to the lush tropical botanical garden, where many of the plants such as palms and fruit trees date back as far as the 1700s. Then explore the 300-year-old Brimstone Fortress, perched 780 feet above sea level. All aboard a semi-submersible to discover the rich undersea life surrounding St. Barts, without even getting wet! After boarding, you may choose to either stay outside on the open deck or enter the tunnel-like hull equipped with underwater windows. At the harbor’s entrance, keep watch for the many green turtles that frequent this area. Soon, the semi-sub passes over the wreck of the island freighter Marignan. Cross the southeastern edge of the St. Barts Marine Park and arrays of undersea marvels will soon be revealed before your eyes. Once considered the dessert for monarchs and aristocrats, chocolate has since filtered through to the mainstream.  The tree to bar chocolate class at Howelton Estate features the use of St. Lucia's trinitario cocoa beans, which are treasured by renowned chocolatiers for their aromatic indulgencies on one’s senses. The class will begin with the manual grinding of cocoa nibs which have been broken down from dried trinitario beans grown on the island.  With the use of a mortar & pestle, class participants under the guidance of the house chocolatier, grind nibs until they transform into liquefied chocolate. The breakdown process can take up to 45 minutes adding in personal touches of desired flavors along the way, which makes each chocolate a unique signature bar. Throughout the class, information on the multiple benefits of the trintario chocolate is disseminated as dark chocolate is renowned for its fascinating health benefits. The Balthazar River nestled in an exotic tropical rainforest is fed from sources deep in the island’s interior. Here is your opportunity to have a thrilling river tubing experience on what is known locally as the “Great River.”   You will take a 45-minute journey from St. George’s through the scenic hilly interior of the Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve to the Balthazar Estate. Your arrival will be followed by a safety briefing before you’ll be equipped with a life vest, modified inner tube, and a paddle. You will be accompanied by guides as you gently spin and swirl in the river currents. Marvel at the exotic views of tropical vegetation and wildlife as your thrilling river ride progresses. Your tour will begin with a leisurely drive along the Gold Coast, home to many wealthy residents, and will take you to the stunning area of Bathsheba.  This is where the Atlantic surf pounds the coastline and it is a famous spot for international and local surfing competitions.  A walk on the beach is a must. Heading into the hills, you will arrive at St. John’s Church. There are stunning views from the churchyard   - a perfect photo opportunity.  The church contains an interesting sculpture depicting the Madonna and Child with the infant St. John. The graveyard contains the tomb of Ferdinand Paleologus, a descendant of the Byzantine Imperial family.  The present building was constructed in 1836, and the pulpit is constructed from six different kinds of wood: ebony, locust, Barbados mahogany, manchineel, oak and pine. Through sleepy country villages and sugar cane fields, you will make your way to Sunbury House dating back to 1650. Depart from the ship and take a short ride via tender to the small pier at Man-O-War Bay.  On arrival you will board a coach for a 15-minute delightful scenic and mountainous drive to the town of Speyside to the Blue Waters Inn where a glass bottom boat awaits. Cruise out of the tiny harbor and down the emerald coast before heading out to Angel Reef. A favorite for divers around the world, Angel Reef boast crystal-clear water providing visibility up to 100 feet. Enjoy another perspective of Tobago as your guide will highlight points of interest and share his knowledge of this underwater environment. Float over 1,000-year-old coral formations. Observe huge sponges and the world’s largest single brain coral. You will see colorful reef fish and diverse marine life in their natural habitat. The boat will drop anchor and you are invited to snorkel, swim or simply relax on board. Cold drinks will be served before your return to Blue Waters Inn where you will have the opportunity to spend some free time before your journey back to Charlotteville to re-join your ship.

You will depart Charlotteville in a mini-bus and travel up and over the lush mountains for a scenic drive along the eastern seashore. Stop at the Speyside Lookout and enjoy sweeping views of mountains, coast and offshore islands. Continue on through tiny villages clinging to the mountainsides, past picturesque bays, as you learn about Tobago’s turbulent history and the fascinating mélange of people that make up her present citizenry. You will make your way to Gilpin Trace where your trained Naturalist Guide will meet you to begin your trek. The hike will take you through the oldest rainforest in the Western Hemisphere, the Gilpin Trace, famous for its abundance of birdlife. Learn about Tobago’s indigenous flora and fauna as your guide will point out the most interesting species. Stop for a break, to listen to the sounds of the forest along the way. Enjoy a quiet moment in this beautiful forest before returning to your mini-bus to make your way back to the ship.

Enjoy a half-day tour of Tobago’s rainforest.  Your drive will take you along Tobago’s Windward Coast to Roxborough and entry to the Argyle Waterfalls Trail, where you will turn off the Main Ridge and enter the oldest Forest Reserve in the Western Hemisphere.  At the rainforest, a Naturalist Guide will take you for a 20-minute hike (each way) through lush tropical vegetation, abundant in plant and wildlife. Next you will visit the 3-tiered Argyle Waterfalls, where you may swim in the natural pool or simply take in the tranquility of the reserve. After your rainforest and waterfall adventure, you will make your way back to Charlotteville and re-board your waiting ship. 

Please note: This tour cannot accommodate guests with wheelchairs. Wear comfortable walking shoes.  The hike to the falls is 20-30 minutes.

Please note: Remember your sunblock and beach towels. You may bring along your own snorkel gear from the yacht and you will be taken ashore by small boat as it is illegal to anchor on the reef.

Depart the Soufriere dock for a short transfer through the historic town of Soufriere and up through the hills to Fond Doux Plantation set on 135 acres of land. Locally owned and operated, this award winning property is over 25 years old. Your time on the plantation will begin with a guided walking tour, where you will learn about the cocoa process, chocolate making and the rich history of the island. Situated among the cocoa groves, you will not only get to smell the cocoa throughout the tour, but will also have the opportunity to see the various stages of the chocolate making process. Enjoy sampling fruits in season grown on the property and a refreshing drink before returning to the port.

Your excursion will begin with a drive through the quaint town of Soufriere, bypassing the town square and Cathedral.  Your first stop will take you to the Botanical Gardens and Diamond Baths which was once a famous spot for Napoleon’s wife, Josephine. Marvel at the tropical plants carefully arranged along the pathway. Enjoy a view of the waterfall observing how the mineral water flows into a stream. Just a short drive away is the Toraille Waterfall set amid tropical surroundings.  Spend time dipping in the natural cold water pool under the cascading falls. Your journey will continue with a short drive to a nearby beach with the Pitons as your backdrop. Spend time soaking in the sea and sun or simply relaxing on the sand.  Your time in Soufriere comes to an end as you are transferred back to the Soufriere dock.

A nature lover’s paradise awaits, as you depart the Soufriere dock for a drive through the town of Soufriere and then into a small community surrounded by lush rainforest, before arriving at the entrance of the Grand Eden Estate.  Your friendly nature guide awaits and your encounter with nature begins the moment you step off your bus.  Your time spent in nature starts as you are guided through well designed natural trails, learning about the flora and fauna. Enjoy sightings of a variety of birds, learn about the medicinal uses of plants along the trail and feel the fresh breeze, as you stop and admire the amazing scenery that surrounds you.  See the island’s most photographed landmark, the Pitons and the island’s tallest mountain Mount Gimmie. Continue on to the farm and sample fruit freshly picked off the trees. Learn about planting methods used and taste fresh juice made from fruit grown on the estate. Depart Grand Eden Estate for your return journey back to the Soufriere docks and ship feeling rejuvenated from your time spent in nature.

Soufriere is blessed with many natural wonders both above and below the surface of the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. These include some of the healthiest coral reefs in the Caribbean.  Depart the Soufriere dock on board a motorized Catamaran or a 38-ft Bertram for your snorkel adventure at one of the island's Marine Reserves.  Anchored or tied to a mooring, you will enter the water directly from the boat. Spend time snorkeling at a Marine Reserve, home to a variety of colorful tropical reef fish and coral.  After your snorkel adventure, board a boat for a cruise to the Soufriere dock and ship.

Located in the town of Soufriere, you’ll visit one of the top local restaurants in the area owned by local celebrity chef - Orlando Satchell. Depart the Soufriere docks for a short drive to Chef Ornlando's Restaurant where you will be met by Chef Orlando and his team, with a cold towel and welcome drink. In the simple and delightful restaurant setting, Chef Orlando will demonstrate his fine culinary expertise and create some mouthwatering fusions. Interact with the Chef and learn cooking tips for creating amazing dishes. Afterwards, you’ll be seated to enjoy a delicious 3-course Caribbean style lunch before heading back to the Soufriere docks and ship.

You will be fascinated as you look into the window of another world. The 32-foot glass-bottom boat will give you an incomparable view of the underwater world of the Bonaire National Marine Park. You will just need to sit back on the comfortable seats and enjoy this narrated eco-tour of one of the best preserved and protected reefs of the world. The tour will start directly from the pier. As you head to Klein Bonaire you will hear an introduction to the marine park.  The unspoiled, uninhabited island is just 0.6 miles out of Bonaire. At Klein Bonaire you will drift for 30 minutes along the reefs to encounter the marine life through the glass viewing panel (9.8’ x 2.62’). Then you will head back to the cruise terminal while passing along the beautiful coastline of Bonaire. From the start till the end you have the chance of meeting many marine creatures that habitat the reefs. The viewing window is large enough for everyone to observe the reef simultaneously. 

Please note: There are two steps into the boat.

This day of sun and fun will start when you meet your guide at the pier.  A short walk along the ocean boulevard will bring you to a lovely beach, where your eco-adventure begins. First, you’ll take a moment for a safety briefing and paddling instructions for your 2-person kayak.  Your stable, sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, life vest, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters. You’ll enjoy Bonaire’s Caribbean shore as you kayak over shallow water, filled with colorful sea life.  Keep an eye out for pelicans and turtles!  Two guides will accompany you all the way.  The bay is always protected from the elements.  Your destination will be a beach in the southern part of the Bonaire Marine Park and an exquisite snorkeling place, excellent for all skill levels.  Bonaire has a long history of marine preservation and is world renowned for its snorkeling.  This area is the perfect spot to introduce yourself to its spectacular underwater sights! Pull your kayak right onto the sandy beach, and moments later you will be slipping into the warm water with your snorkel gear and enjoying the breathtaking coral and the many colorful tropical reef fish.  As you float effortlessly in the crystal-clear water, look for fish like blue tangs, damsel fish and wrasses.  Other sea life abounds, as well; if you’re lucky, you may spot a hawksbill, a green turtle or perhaps even a seahorse.  All of your snorkel equipment will be provided, but if you have brought an underwater camera, this would be a great time to use it! Afterwards, relax on the beach and refresh yourself with some provided bottled water before kayaking back along the scenic route to the pier.

 

Please note: Bring a towel and wear your bathing suit under your clothing. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water shoes are recommended.  There is a weight limit of 225 lbs. per person to participate in this tour.

 

Bonaire is known for its pink flamingos, nature reserves and superb diving and snorkeling sites. Today's relaxing drive will cover both the scenic and historic highlights. Board your motor coach at the pier. Your route will carry you north along the coast, past many of the island’s fine vistas and dive sights. You will pass by Lake Goto (Goto Meer), the island’s land-locked salt-water lagoon, for a look at the long-legged pink flamingos. Continue your drive across the island, passing by the fresh water well "Dos Pos" and through the village of Rincon, the oldest settlement in the ABC islands. Your first stop of the day will be in the village of Rincon, which was settled by the Spanish in the 16th century. From here, you’ll visit a popular outdoor venue with a small museum where you sample locally produced liqueur made out of cactus and lime.  As you make your way to the southern part of the island, you will have a stop for photos of the salt pans – the color contrast between the blue Caribbean, pink salt pans and towering white mounds of dry salt are quite spectacular. Your route will also carry you past the white slave huts, small shelters built for the slaves forced to labor in the salt ponds.

Imagine yourself on a voyage through time when seas were full of sailing ships in an exotic land where ships were not only transportation but also works of art. The Samur is an authentic Siamese Junk, hand carved throughout with legends of fantasy and full of superstition fed by rituals thousands of years old. By Zodiac you will be transferred from the cruise ship pier to the Samur. You will set sail and glide smoothly under red sail to the beach of the uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire. During the sail the Captain will give information about the conditions at the reef (which creatures you will find) and the story about the Siamese Sailing Junk. The crew will hand out snorkel gear (sized fins, mask and snorkel and inflatable snorkel vests). Drinks will be served, fruit juices and sodas. After about 45 minutes you will arrive at Klein Bonaire and will be transported by Zodiac to the beach. There you can snorkel from the beach and also have the opportunity to participate on the guided drift snorkel along the outer edge of Ebo's Reef. The comfortable drift snorkel with the light current back to the beach along the reef edge lasts about 20 minutes. Enjoy the pristine white sandy beach of this uninhabited island. You will be at the beach about 1 hour. On the way back to your waiting yacht the crew of this unique ship will pamper you with rum punch, fruit juice, soft drinks and platters of tropical fruits.

Discover Bonaire's capital from the seat of an emissions-free electric open air Tuk Tuk or shuttle.  The Tuk Tuk has 2 benches facing each other and the shuttle resembles a stretched-out golf cart with rows of seats. Board your vehicle and listen as your guide tells you all about the history, culture and local life on this beautiful island.  Your route will go past the candy-colored houses on the main street and you’ll see the island's largest church with its beautiful stained glass windows. Pause for a few stories about Captain Don, the legend of the island and founder of the diving industry and learn how inventive the locals have been with the use of cactus. Your tour will end with a picturesque drive along the ocean boulevard where you’ll see the local fishing boats and Fort Orange on the way back to the ship.

Please note: Participants must weigh less than 260 lbs. This tour will operate by Tuk Tuk (or open air shuttle) and will involve limited walking. The Tuk Tuk ride will last around 45 minutes and there are two steps to board the vehicle. Each vehicle can accommodate four to seven guests and we are unable to guarantee which vehicle you will have on the day.
 

You will be picked up from the ship and board an air-conditioned coach for an informative tour of the island. You will see the rugged beauty of the island’s interior and the contrast of the soft, sandy coast line. You will see how the people of Aruba live and be taken to sights that are off the beaten path.  Highlights of this tour include the California Lighthouse, a structure over 90 feet high, built of local stones, the Ayo Rock Formation, that is the Stone Henge of Aruba. You will be able to climb the rocks to take pictures if you wish.  You will also see Bushiribana, the ruins of one of Aruba’s famous gold mines, and the Natural Bridge, a gorgeous stretch of coral limestone that is 25 feet high and 100 feet long, making it one of the largest in the world.  Other experiences include climbing through the gold ruins, sampling aloe beauty products, and learning about Aruba’s rich cultural history.
